Went at 10pm on a Friday night. It was at maybe 20% capacity. Tried to order a bottle of Soju and was told “we’re not serving soju tonight, only beer and mixed cocktails.” Weird but whatever. Ordered a beer for $13 in a thin plastic cup (which was way smaller than what you could get at any other bar in Fenway for a lower price) that cracked when I picked it up.

Other members of my group arrived later and tried to order soju, and were told the same thing. They pushed back and the bartender reluctantly served them, but charged each of them (at least 4 people across separate interactions - every one had to pressure the bartender to serve the drink that has its own section of the menu) prices higher than the website’s menu lists.

Can’t speak to the food, but don’t bother coming here if you’re just looking for drinks. Guy at the front door was nice.

We were not made aware of the $20 gratuity tip before we left our actual 20% tip. The total amount we tipped was $43 for a $105 dollar meal. We would've appreciated if you told us that you charged $20 for gratituity before we had to leave a tip.

Hosted a Halloween event just to scam 100s of people. The event was promoted as 18+ but then at the door you had to be 21+. Yet, the first people in line didn’t even get their ids checked. Then the security and owner did not care one bit if you a had a ticket or not. Owner was very unprofessional yelling, “we’re closed” and shoving people to go home at 12:45am. But then online say they’re open until 2am, I’m very disappointed to say the least.

I got violently ill from the kimchi stew takeout. Knew something was wrong after a few bites but convinced myself that I was being dramatic. Nope, in the bathroom all night suffering from both ends. And having paid a premium for the luxury of picking it up from Fenway? Nope, never again.

After a few visit over the last 5 years, I think my opinion of slipping quality solidified.

Food: On my most recent visit, we ordered the rice cakes, a medium order of wings, and a soju pitcher. The rice cakes were overly sweet to us and didn’t blend when with the spice that tried to pack in. The wings were the best part of the meal but they genuinely used to be much better. These wings were light on sauce and were a bit dry and overcooked. Lastly, the soju pitcher was just sugar water and not worth $30.

Service: The staff was still very pleasant but could be more attentive towards the tail end of the meal for a more timely checkout.

Atmosphere: I liked the Halloween decorations, but I would have like some more light at 7pm.

Soy garlic wings are mid. Wish there was more of a fried breading layer. Soy garlic sauce is mid. Wing itself was good.

We went here to celebrate my daughters birthday. Great choice by her! The soju pitcher was amazing, strawberry lemonaide, but it can sneak up on you because it goes down so easy. The appetizers we got were phenomenal! Crunchy corn, pork dumplings kimbop and cheese katsu. All very delicious. We will definitely be back when in the area. The service was fast and exceptionally friendly. Food was served quickly and came to the table hot.

Sojuba – Fenway’s Rooftop Hidden Gem 🍹🍜🎶
Last night I had the pleasure of attending Nice AF, an urban rooftop event at Sojuba, and wow — the vibes were 🔥. The first floor felt like a full-on nightclub: colorful lights, a live DJ, and plenty of space to chill or dance.
But let’s talk food — because the Korean fusion menu is a foodie’s dream. Our table couldn't get enough of the soy spicy fried chicken — crispy, sweet heat perfection. We also devoured the crab scallion pancakes, garlic noodles, veggie fried rice, beef ribs, and fried shrimp dumplings.
To top it off, we had a refreshing strawberry lemonade pitcher for the table. After dinner, we headed to the rooftop — music bumping, fully stocked bar, and even a bathroom up there (a game-changer!).
Whether you're here for the food, the party, or both — Sojuba is a must-visit in Fenway.

There was a very rude and sassy bartender that ripped my card from my hand and denied my request for a refund when I had tasted soap in my drink. A bouncer was very unsympathetic and would not let me re-enter to look for my lost phone until close, only to deny me again when close came around. I had to explain myself way too much for him to finally let me go in. When I did, the bartender from earlier made a very theatrical x with his arms and said no more orders before he even understood what I was asking. After describing my phone in niche detail a second bartender pulled it out and started messing with me / dragging it out, having me tell him my passcode so HE could log into my phone. Being a jokester's not a crime, but given the description of my phone I provided it was unnecessary and tad invasive. After he got really defensive when I sarcastically returned the energy, I felt that it was a tad mean.

I understand being slammed with a busy night and where the attitudes and strictness were coming from, but most my interactions with staff were brought to a level that was just unnecessary and immature, no need to take it out on patrons.

I went to Sojuba with three friends, and this was my second time there , sadly, it’ll also be my last. We were all extremely disappointed with the food, service, and overall vibe. The food was so bad that three of us felt sick afterwards, and two of us actually threw up. Definitely not going back, and I’d seriously recommend you think twice before going yourself!!
