During my stay in Boston, I came here for breakfast every day. Very customizable and delicious breakfast sandwich, a tasty gluten free bun, and really great drinks. I had the rose/strawberry matcha three times, and it's delicious. I also like that they offer unsweetened matcha and customization for the flavor separate from the sweetener. So, I had a wonderful rose and strawberry flavor in my matcha, but it was not sweet, which is my preference.

Amazing little sandwich. I got the Rock Solid which is named well - I highly recommend adding in some pickled onions if you like the tang. Just feels comfy for all and tasty to top it off. Love the concept of paying it forward for food and drink if youâre able!

they're nice but unfortunately I had the single worst matcha latte of my entire life here...it was just milk and ice with huge unblended chunks of matcha đ would not wish this upon my worst enemy

Imagine spending $25+ on two sandwiches and tip and being disrespected by the staff because they assume you have an attitude about the wait times? Iâve ordered from this place numerous times and have waited 20+ minutes for my food and thatâs expected and never an issue as quality food takes time to make. Iâve given this coffee shop probably $500 in the last few months, tipped the front staff who are nice for the most part. But thereâs this one guy who works there, always angry who decided to give us an attitude while coming to pick up an order 15 minutes after it had been placed. After numerous run ins with him, I just about had it! We did nothing but go up to the counter to pick up when we are met by an angry boss because the order had not been made yet. Whose fault is that? Us the customers or your staff? Then when you are addressed for your attitude, how much sense does it make to double down with even more attitude? To the point that you threathen me with a kitchen knife? Lol you nor that knife was going to stop me from dragging you down Mission Hill. It was the young girls behind the register who are clearly in their 20s and just there to work that stopped things from escalating. They probably experience his attitude every day. Never again will I be giving this coffee shop another hard earned dollar of mine. And to that manager, change your attitude before someone who isnât afraid to disturb the peace handles you.
In response to the âowner.â Check your cameras! Your staff all looked at him when I asked for a manager. Either way, your âbaristaâ has a nasty attitude with customers and with staff. It is not the customerâs fault that your cafe canât handle volume and at no point was that wait time communicated. Either way 20-25 minutes (while embarrassingly long for breakfast sandwiches) is what we are used to and donât have an issue. Noone threathened the guy and even if he felt threathened he pulled a knife which would land him quicker in jail than me yelling to be heard by a place where I spend too much damn money to be treated like a peasant by some miserable employee in over his head. Had he listened and came over when I respectfully requested a manager instead of ignoring me, none of this wouldâve happened. Noone threatened to call the police but him. Leave those girls out of it. Yâall have some issues to work out internally and need to do better at communicating with guests because you are in Mission Hill, not Milton MA, so if you catch an attitude with the locals, you will receive it back!

This place is VERY small. Not great for hanging out. Get your coffee and go. The coffee is worth the stop though. Really fresh ans tasty. I grabbed two bags of beans. They are fast and the staff is really friendly too.

Real nice folks and great coffee, with a tasty vegan option!! Try the Forager for food which was a great portion for the price, and then make sure to try their Fall latte for the best spicy fall vibes latte you will ever have!!
Locally owned and LGBTQIA+ friendly! They have a pay it forward program to help neighbors get food. Definitely coming back here!!
Vegetarian options: They have a small menu with one fully plant-based Vegan-friendly option that is tasty and nutritious, as well as a couple vegetarian options that looked good too.

Best breakfast in town but theyâre always super busy. Ordering ahead usually works but sometimes I order at 7:25 and it takes over 45 minutes for them to finally get my order ready.
