Highly recommend this place. Tried the Breakfast Sandwich and Cuban sandwich they are delicious Sonsie also has a very good selection of drinks from best cappuccino. Our server Mateo was very professional and attentive. Manager GP and Dawn also visited us. They are friendly and they enhance our very best dining experience. Thank you Sonsie We will return.

Food is OK, a bit salty. Mixed cuisine. No clear character.

Great Thanksgiving dinner. Loved the atmosphere. Service was good but a little slow, it was crowded.

My friend and I came here for dinner, and we both had terrible experiences with our food. My salmon was completely soaked in sauce and oil—I could barely eat it. Even the vegetables were covered in so much sauce I couldn’t even see them. My friend ordered the cauliflower, but it was also drenched in a super salty sauce and ended up being impossible to eat.

This is our go-to Friday dinner spot. The Spaghetti Pomodoro is delicious with the bread crumbs and Burrata. Highly recommend!

Very small portions for the overpriced food you pay. Food itself was mediocre. I left there wanting to go eat another meal. I won't be returning

Sonsie is a gem of a bar located in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. This place offers a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and a well stocked and maintained bar. I had the burger and a spicy margarita, both were excellent! While the food was great, the highlight of my evening was the friendly bartender who made my drink! Dilan is an exceptional bartender and a has the charisma and personality to make conversation with anyone and make you feel right at home!

Highly recommended Sonsie for a night out at the bar with friends, or an energetic date-night dinner.

The service was very bad. It took a long time to get the 4 drinks we ordered and then once the waiter came with them he accidentally spilled the entire tray of drinks on me. Mistakes happen and that is ok. But the way they handled it was not ok. I had a brand new coat on and it was soaked. I was soaked and sticky. The waiter tried to clean it up fast so no manager would see. They let us get another table inside cause I was soaked and it was cold. They got us new drinks but again it took a long time. They never came over to ever ask if we wanted food or anything else. It was so strange. So then we needed to leave and we thought sense they literally spilt 4 huge drinks all over me and my clothes that they would comp our drinks. They didn’t and they tried to charge us for them. When we asked the manager about it, she had no idea and said she would comp us 3 beverages so we had to pay for one. I don’t like to raise a fuss so we paid for the one drink and left. But we will never go there again. I have to get all my clothes dry cleaned

It was just okay. You’d think food places on Newbury Street would be memorable and delicious . Especially for the price. I’ve eaten at less expensive places with better food.

I asked for medium rare and received what looks like almost rare. Cooking for another 1-2 minutes would’ve made it perfect. It was so chewy.

The seating was very tight. We seated facing the street. Very close to the people next to us and in front of us.

Restrooms were in lower floor so would be tricky for anyone who can’t manage stairs.
