Certainly one of the best restaurants in Boston, Sorellina amazes with every occasion and every bite. A gorgeous, extraordinary restaurant, Sorellina stays with us long after we're gone and back in North Carolina. Thank you. Really. For excellence, for consistently knocking our socks off, and for serving such sumptuous dishes every time we come.
Wonderful from start to finish. Highlight... the veal saltimbocca prepared with loin instead of traditional scallopine was outstanding! As was Mafaldine pasta. Also appreciated complimentary car service back to hotel and the fact that a restaurant of this caliber did not request a credit card to hold reservation.. so unusual these days.
I purposely sat at the bar because I was traveling alone, yet I couldn't have felt more welcome by the staff, especially the bartender. She knew her vodka, and when I was indecisive about what to order for my meal, her recommendations were spot on, especially the gnocchi with lobster. It was a bowl of the most tender little pasta pillows swimming with pieces of lobster in a butter sauce. Sorellina also has quite the wine list, and it's a great spot for people watching....
