I recently had Spinellis cater my daughter’s baptism. Everything was amazing! The staff was so helpful with recommendations and assisting with how much food to order. Delivery was prompt and the food was delicious (the eggplant parm was the best I’ve had). The cake came exactly how I pictured it, beautiful and fresh and the buttercream frosting was delicious! All the guests raved about everything. Highly recommend for your next event!

This will be a lengthy review, so please bear with me. I think it’s important to add every detail possible in this experience.My family and I have purchased cakes on several occasions from Spinelli’s. We loved their cakes and were loyal customers.For my daughter’s third birthday, I decided to order a number 3 cake. I called the week of Thanksgiving to make sure that they were able to fulfill this request. The lady on the phone said they could. I decided to order the day before, as we usually do. I have never had an issue and didn’t think that making a cake in the number shape would be an issue. Had the first lady told me, I would have ordered right then and there.Fast forward, I spoke with a very nice woman about ordering the 3 cake, and was informed that I needed to call a week in advance. The first lady I spoke to never told me this. I was bummed. We finally decided to order a cake covered with blue, pink, purple rosettes. My husband picks the cake up, brings it home, and we open the box. First off, our daughter’s name was spelt incorrectly. Second, it looked like someone rushed the cake decorating. It looked bad, definitely not the quality we were used to from Spinelli’s. Thirdly, the cake was not covered in rosettes like we had ordered. There was only a border. My husband took the cake back and the cake decorator was incredibly rude. He was complaining about having to fix it and that he didn’t have all day to cater to our needs. My husband said a few words and the man disappeared to the back, never showing his face again.I get in touch with someone because I want to complain about the experience we’ve had. Eventually, we are connected with a woman by name of Celeste. She apologizes and offers a gift card for our troubles. We never expected anything from this. We just wanted the man to be removed from his position, because he doesn’t need to serve the public with such a nasty attitude. The fact that Spinelli’s allows this behavior is very telling about their practices. We were told that they have received various complaints, yet they continue to allow him to interact with the public in this capacity.To date, we have not received the gift card. We called to let Celeste know, as she gave us her private extension. No response. I am extremely disappointed and saddened that we chose to give Spinelli’s our business. We will no longer do so.

I've ordered spinellis over the years. The salads are always great, family side a nice deal always frsh etc. Last week I ordered chicken marsala and a family salad (taken out). It was all packed very well. I didn't get any rolls. The chicken marsala was terrible. The liquid of it all ended uo in the plastic bag it was wrapped in. What remained in the bowl was flavorless. I picked at it (at work) and took it home to add some salt, seasonings etc. Half of it ended uo in trash. Just dissapointed. The salad was great as always. Packed well etc. But they forgot rolls! Meant to serve like 4 to 6 people it's a lot to forgot rolls with an order like that. Will still go for salad and other items. Heard desserts are good

Really gorgeous cakes; tried both the carrot cake, which was made in a really classic way, and the chocolate mousse cake, which was silky smooth and had a nice balance of cream and sponge. Just really super nice!
