Had a fantastic experience at this spot! Our server Ying was attentive, personable, and clearly knew the menu inside and out. The food was flavorful, well-balanced, and made with top-quality ingredients. We’ll definitely be coming back!
It was our first time in. We had a reservation so there was only a modest wait. We enjoyed the meal and the ambience of our outdoor table.
The food was very good, the portions were fairly small, and the prices above average. We had two servers and they got everything right but were fairly pushy on upsell and asking for tips. Those are no-nos for me.
Also parking can be very tough in that neighborhood.
We came here right after getting married, and it was the perfect choice! The food was excellent—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The service was outstanding, some of the best we’ve ever experienced. We’ll definitely be back!
A wonderful choice if you like and enjoy a more family style shareable Italian meal. Delicious pastas, sides and apps. Great cocktails and wine list as well!
My girlfriend and I came here for a quick bite before a concert and shared a plate of the Strozzapreti everything was made to order but so fast and delicious if I’m ever in Boston I’ll definitely stop by again. The service was amazing as well as very friendly. Great cocktails too I forgot what my girlfriend had but I had a classic spritzer and it was sooo yummy and perfect for a hot busy day.
The portions are huuuge, causing my usual strategy of over-ordering to backfire dramatically. Most of the dishes we (2 people) had can easily feed 4 people. Everything was tasty and solid if not super inventive. The tables are close together and unfortunately for us that meant overhearing two ladies whine about their colleagues for 1.5 hours. More eating and less complaining please!
Don’t miss the crostini and the bone marrow risotto. Great service.

SRV is a good international cuisine restaurant.
They propose dishes perfect for Dubai, NY, Singapore, KL etc.
I didn't see the attention to the "traditional Venetian food" or the ingredients of the Venetian cuisine.
In my opinion the name leverage the power of the italian food on the customers and is based on a marketing strategy. The ingredients follow the latest trends (guanciale, fontina, calabrian chili, truffle, smoked cheese, etc).
Is it the first Bacaro in Boston? Absolutely not. They call Chicchetti their appetizers (1/3 of the menu). They call appetizers Cicchetti. it is not a cicchetti bar.
I have seen many extravagant Spritzes but the olive and the orange slice on a skewer might be appreciated in a NY roof top; in Venice (capital of the Spritz) they will laugh at your face.
The clams with the calabrian chili??? very not Venetian.
Only 3 bottles of wine are from Veneto on the wine list.
Is polenta alla milanese from Venice or Milan?
Where is the "Sarde in saor"?
Why a truffle risotto and not a seafood risotto? Venice is on a lagoon...
Don't go there for the tradition, don't go there for the venetian food.

Nice space. Friendly staff. Website listed a certain pasta which is why we came. We got there and they didn't have it. They accommodated us by making a similar pasta but we were told that we would have to pay 17$ more due to not having black truffles which are less expensive than the white truffles they had. That left a bad taste in our mouth. Pasta itself was good. Short ribs were nice but portion was small for the price
Amazing meal on a Monday night — we did the tasting menu which ended up being super fun and a great value. The pasta dishes were the highlight (the corn rigatoni was the table favorite). Also the staff were fantastic — super attentive, knowledgeable and fun. It was nice and quiet in the restaurant despite being ~70-80% full; a rare and very welcome occurrence these days.

Been here several times and it never disappoints - their back patio is so cute and nice and their tasting menu might be the best value in the city. Next-level service provided by Danny this evening; he made a stellar recommendation about a basil coconut gelato.
Just left SRV and it was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I sat on the back patio. Our server was Danny and he was fantastic. So hard to find good service nowadays and Danny definitely delivered. We did the tasting menu which was out of this world! Everything was spaced out perfectly! Danny’s suggestions were amazing too! Do yourself a favor before it gets cold and go sit on the back patio and ask for Danny! Thanks SRV! Can’t wait to come back.

Everything was magical, our servers were so attentive and the whole staff was so nice! My husband and I went out of our typical dining comfort and tried some new things! We are both avid restaurant dwellers and have been in the industry for years, and found SRV through our search for somewhere to eat for our trip through Boston. This meal was easily one of favorite of all time. Every plate was coursed perfectly, and tasted incredible. We unfortunately don’t live close, but will be back in the future. Thank you for genuinely providing hospitality and a great experience!
