Fantastic experience sitting at the bar for drinks and light bites. The vibe was great and the bartenders were extremely attentive and knowledgeable about all the cocktails and wine. They gave us a mini wine tasting to help us determine what to order. The bites we had were fantastic. They thoughtfully went through the entire menu to highlight the dairy-free options. Highly recommend the bar area for a drink or for a full meal

It's hard to really review the food since was here for a wedding and it was served family style. The best thing was their meatballs that the servers passed out during the cocktail hour. However, I thought the rest of the food was just okay, which everyone seemed to agree with at my table. Everything was served cold (they were supposed to be hot dishes), and everything was rather bland. They had a sliced sirloin course, and the meat was way too rare. The server never asked how anything was, and didn't even question why most of the steak dish was left untouched. We could have said something of course, but since it was a wedding we didn't want to complain. There were six dishes in total, with a zucchini dish, followed by sliced chicken breast, then the sliced sirloin. This was followed by three pasta dishes: Mac and cheese, bland risotto, and a crab pasta that I think is on their menu. The crab was next to invisible, but at least the dish had some flavor. Reviews show average per person cost is $50-100, but I don't know how much the host paid per person for the wedding. But if I paid $50-100 for what I had, I would be upset. And not, once a dish was empty, they didn't refill it.

Celebrated our daughter's wedding at SRV and they couldn't have been more hospitable or gracious. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

SRV is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is warm and elegant, and the staff make you feel truly welcome. Every dish was beautifully prepared — the handmade pasta was perfectly cooked, and the flavors were just amazing. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Boston

Enjoyed my time here with 3 other people. We ordered the bacala, meatballs, tuna crudo, zucchini, tenderloin, smoked trout, lumache, strozzapreti, and guanciale risotto.

I'd definitely order the tenderloin, trout, lumache, and strozzapreti again without hesitation. Unfortunately, the ravioli was sold out when we were there (6:30pm, so a bit surprising and bit disappointing) but we enjoyed almost everything we ordered. The only dish we had a complaint about was the guanciale risotto, which was a bit too salty.

Service was overall good, but plates that piled up were taken away only by our server, and not those (cooks?) who brought our dishes. It makes sense if you think about hygiene, but this was a bit annoying in the beginning especially with the cicchetti.

The food was unique and exquisite! We have eaten at some of the best fine dining restaurants in the US and I must say SRV is now my top favorite!! Great atmosphere, excellent wine and Hannah is a 5 Star server with an adorable personality, witty and so much fun! We went back a second night because it was so amazing! Zucchini dish, Beet risotto , and tiramisu I will be craving till we make it back to Boston for more! Everything on the menu we tried was outstanding! Wish we had this place in Florida.

Loved the food here - I'm a big foodie and this was one of my favorite places I've eaten is Boston. I was skeptical of the tasting menu but it was phenomenal. Our favorite by far was the trout tartare, and we also loved the dopli and mozzarella balls.

This is a fantastic Italian “tapas-style” restaurant — a refreshing and elegant take on small plates with big flavors. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. The bartender recommended a stunning wine, the Bussola Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2021, which drank like an Italian version of Caymus — rich, bold, and beautifully balanced.

Fantastic. Best pasta I’ve had in a while, and I was in Europe all summer. I had the lumache with crab and chile butter, and I could’ve had eight more servings. I ate at the bar and my check said my server was PM B, I didn’t get his actual name but he was really great as well. I was in town for a work trip and I will definitely be taking my coworkers again in the future.
