If I'm ordering one baked good and a tiny drink for ELEVEN DOLLARS, I expect to get a cup of ice and tap water for free, but upon asking, I get a nasty look and am told "We charge for the cup." Absolutely obscene how horrible the service was, and how rude the staff were. What gets me, however, is being there a day prior at the same time and seeing a woman request a cup of ice water and being it given to her for no charge. It was at the counter where you pick up your order, and there was no exchange of cash or card. Why, may I ask, am I being denied a cup of water at this particular location? I will not return to this Starbucks location, and I'm considering not giving any more money to this corporation entirely. I am incredibly disappointed in the staff's attitude and type-casting, the negative attitude in this café, and the ridiculousness of these acts. VERY disappointing.

This Starbucks closes too early for ambitious students of Questrom. The opening hours should last longer in order to grab a coffee or a snack while studying.

Crowded all the time…

Located on the 2nd floor of BU's Questrom School of Business where the collegiate Baristas are full of life giving out friendly cup of smiles. Due to the high traffic, this is not the SB's to be at if you need to get your study on in a quiet & peaceful environment. Not to worry, there is another (one of many in close proximity) SB located down the street =). You can find all that SB has to offer; however, for payment one must use BU Convenience Points, SB App or good ol' fashion cash. If you're a BU student you can access the Wi-Fi for free. Keep up the great job & grades!

Nice basement spot! They do not redeem app rewards since they are connected to the university.

Coffee is fine but I'm pretty sure it's illegal to charge a paying customer a quarter for water. Just saying.

This Starbucks is in the Boston university, so it is full of undergrad students. It is LOUD. It's not good for outsiders and there is wifi for boston university guests but need to register and no starbucks wifi. There is another normal starbucks nearby. I will go there next time.

This Starbucks is on the second floor of the BU School of Management, but you don't need to be affiliated with BU to use it. It's a great place to study--the seating area is massive, because it shares seating with a little sandwich place in the same space. It's a little louder than other Starbucks I've been to because of the volume of people, but the almost guaranteed seating and variety of seating (big tables, small tables, high tables, booths, and counters along the walls and windows) make this a great spot to get work done on your own or in a group.

This Starbucks location is convenient to those with classes on the East Campus of Boston University. It has a fairly spacious seating area, with a fair amount of outlets, for anyone who is looking to get work done between classes. I've found the service to be very inconsistent at this location; my drink order has been forgotten roughly 50 percent of the time I've ordered here (granted, yes, I went when it was fairly crowded, but the line wasn't out the door). I'd stand there at the pickup area for 15-20 minutes before anyone asked me what I ordered. More recently, I've had a better experience there - perhaps the staff are more on top of their game now. I'll continue to give this place a chance, since it seems that things have started to turn around. I still prefer the Starbucks at 700 Commonwealth Avenue, though.
