Awful service, got my coffee and first sandwich in 5 minutes, then had to wait 20 more minutes with no one in line for the second sandwich making me late for work. Unacceptable.

I live across the street from this store and am here every day. Today I was denied access to the bathroom by a female employee....told I had to wait in line and buy something first. Unfortunately I ran back home to use it. I will no longer get coffee from here, EVER. I believe she denied me access because I'm white. It's horrible the attitude she gave me.

Subject: Formal Complaint About Rude Behavior by Store Manager Lawrence – 11C West Broadway, Boston, MA

Dear Starbucks Customer Service,

I am writing to formally report an unpleasant and disappointing experience I had at your store located at 11C West Broadway, Boston, MA 02127, on May 16, 2025, at approximately 1:50 PM.

During my visit, I encountered extremely rude and unprofessional behavior from the store manager, Lawrence. I had placed my coffee order with one of the female staff members at the register. She took my order courteously and informed me of the total cost. However, as she turned around to prepare my order, Manager Lawrence suddenly appeared at the register, stood in front of me silently, and stared without any greeting or explanation.

I asked, “Is everything okay?” to which Lawrence responded, in a loud and rude tone, “I am waiting for you to pay.” I replied, “Ah, okay,” and proceeded to make the payment. I then calmly expressed that I felt he was being rude. Rather than addressing my concern professionally, he responded sarcastically and in a raised voice, saying, “I’m sorry sir that you are having a bad day.”

Feeling dismissed and disrespected, I moved to the order pickup area and politely asked the same female employee for the name of the person who took my payment. She informed me that his name is Lawrence and that he is the store manager. Upon noticing our conversation, Lawrence further escalated the situation by addressing my posture at the counter, claiming it was “inappropriate,” and continuing to speak to me in a condescending and antagonistic tone.

I informed Lawrence that I would be filing a complaint regarding his behavior. He continued to mock the situation by saying, “Well, we can discuss that here, sir,” and again sarcastically repeated, “I’m sorry you are having a bad day” and “I hope you have a better day.”

I am a regular customer at this location and have previously witnessed Lawrence speak rudely to other customers. I find his repeated behavior unacceptable and not in line with the values Starbucks promotes. His conduct reflects poorly on the brand and creates a hostile atmosphere for customers.

I respectfully request that this incident be taken seriously and investigated promptly. No customer should be subjected to such treatment, especially from someone in a leadership position.

I am writing to bring to your attention the poor service I received from a staff member at this Starbucks, specifically Shanice or wharver name. I politely requested that she adjust my drink, but she responded dismissively, stating 'for what? Nope' and proceeded to ignore me and other customers. I was taken aback by her behavior, which seemed to convey a lack of regard for customers. If she were my employee, I would have addressed the issue promptly. I hope you will take steps to ensure that customers receive better service in the future. I had to toss out the drink it was bad .

went there multiples times to order A matcha latte, and 90 percent of the time they didnt add sugar, the drink was bland and no hint of matcha at all!!!

I️ am pissed. yet again another simple order somehow messed up… I️ ordered a grande hazelnut oat milk shaken espresso, which may I️ add is on the menu for order, not something I created out of thin air. Somehow when I take the first sip of my coffee I get a mouth full of cream.. CREAM!!!! I️ get it’s Boston but if my drink is specifically ordered with no cream.. just oat milk, just add oat milk! I️ can now not get the disgusting taste of expired cream out of my mouth and will now probably break out like Mrs. Puff during one of sponge-bob’s driving lesson. Thanks Starbucks ❤️ Happy Sunday to all but the two employees on shift at 2:30pm 3/24/24.

I bought my breakfast there to take out but came back because I was around the city working..then I wanted to use the bathroom and they said was closed when I saw people entering the bathroom. Really unprofessional, impolite, I didn’t expected it.

I can understand why a business would not want to let their customers use their bathroom, a little petty but fine it is what it is. However, I just spent $14 at this establishment and couldn’t even get one single napkin with my food? Now this is beyond petty. DO BETTER

It's starbucks... the only thing that's different in these places is the crowd and the service.I placed my order in a reasonable time with the size of the line.All I ordered was a hot food item. No drink.It took way longer than it should have. Like 10+ minutes.Multiple people who were in line behind me got both food and drinks before my one thing was done.It's was one of the least complicated things at they just pull it out of the cooler and toss it into the turbo oven...Anyway that was annoying but what else can you do once you are there and you gotta be at work in a few minutes...?‍♂️

Removed all tables, only a few counter top spots, so mostly a grab and go location. Wish they’d bring back a seating area. Friendly staff, convenient location right outside West Broadway Tstop. Service generally reliable but can be understandably slower during peak hours.
