Jesus, a barista at Starbucks, is the epitome of customer service excellence. From the moment you walk through the door, his warm smile and cheerful greeting make you feel instantly at ease, as if you’ve walked into the home of an old friend. No matter how long the line is, Jesus has a way of making every customer feel like they’re his top priority, ensuring that their experience is both personal and efficient.
What sets Jesus apart is his uncanny ability to remember faces, names, and even specific drink preferences. A regular might casually mention their love of caramel drizzle once, and weeks later, Jesus is still topping their latte with that sweet, golden touch. It’s as though he has a mental Rolodex dedicated solely to ensuring every customer feels uniquely seen and valued.
Beyond his impeccable memory, Jesus demonstrates extraordinary adaptability. Whether it’s calming a frazzled parent with a crying toddler, or helping a customer decipher the complexities of the Starbucks menu, he handles each situation with grace and professionalism. His patience seems boundless, and his calm demeanor is infectious, often diffusing tense moments before they escalate.
Jesus doesn’t just serve coffee; he creates an experience. His energy transforms even the most mundane coffee run into a highlight of the day. He’s known for slipping in witty comments or offering genuine compliments that brighten a customer’s mood. Regulars have come to expect his trademark charm, often seeking out his shift times just to interact with him.
His coworkers also sing his praises, frequently noting how his positive energy lifts the entire team. Jesus is the first to step in when the pace picks up, juggling multiple tasks without missing a beat. Despite the occasional chaos of a busy morning, he never loses his cool, instead rallying the team with encouraging words and a contagious sense of humor.
On top of all this, Jesus goes above and beyond to foster a sense of community. He organizes local events, like coffee tastings and book drives, and always finds ways to give back. Customers often find handwritten notes on their cups—thoughtful messages that make their day. It’s these small yet profound gestures that solidify his reputation as more than just a barista; he’s a cornerstone of the neighborhood.
In short, Jesus exemplifies everything great about customer service. His unwavering dedication to his craft, combined with his genuine care for people, sets a gold standard not just for Starbucks but for any service-oriented industry. For many, Jesus isn’t just a barista—he’s a daily reminder of kindness, connection, and the simple joys in life.

Hands down the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The two men working moved extremely slow. Took orders out of order. I ordered ahead and was quoted 7 min. Then proceeded to wait an additional 20 minutes after arriving for one iced coffee. The two guys had no problem having a conversation with themselves about how they were sick and tired of working yet took forever to do anything. This place should be shut down.

Has to be the worst run Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Waited over 20 minutes for an iced americano and tomato mozz sandwich after ordering. Left in frustration before I got the last part of my order. Staff needs to be trained or more need to be hired. You could walk to the Tatte nearby and still get your order faster than ordering here.
Staff is unfriendly and inconsistent. Sometimes they are great, other times they don't get your name and make you sort through coffees on the pickup counter. They don't have thr classic syrup for iced coffee so you can't get sugar added to those. They just give you a splenda packet.

It’s Sunday, so this place becomes significantly peaceful. The grande hot soy latte saved our freezing souls literally

I understand that they were short one staff member and it showed. I waited a long time for my drink. The staff was very friendly and helpful though and if I'm back in the area again I would come here.

Friendly staff. Fast service.
Savannah is such the sweetest soul ever! She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that us as customers feel welcome and satisfied with their experience. Her attention to detail and ability to multitask during peak hours is very impressive. Will be coming back again. Thank you :)
I had to wait for 30 minutes for one coffee. You get the idea.
