The owners of this place are very cruel people. They renamed it from Stash's to Bel Ave. The husband/owner is in jail for a few years for abusing immigrants financially and physically.
Putting that aside. The food is hit and miss. One day, you can get a thin New Haven pizza. The next day a thick 2/4 inch pizza.

I have been an ardent ordered of Bel Ave and always enjoyed good food, prompt service, etc. Unfortunately my last order which was for two steak, pepper, onion and cheese calzones, large chicken wing and French fries was a vast disappointment. The calzones were flat and very greasy, chicken and fries were also very greasy. We were very disappointed especially after paying $65. I don’t know if there was a different cook that day or what but I am all set. Will not be ordering again.

As soon as I entered I met a very nice woman who is in charge and very personable. There will be a bakery next to the pizzeria soon. The pizza is always very good.The slices are always very large. I like the buffalo chicken pizza. The wings are very good. It's pretty convenient and they serve it pretty fast.
