Had my pre-wedding dinner here. The service was amazing, and they were very attentive and efficient, even with our somewhat large party. We were lucky enough to go on their last night of their hot chocolate menu, and thank goodness because it was a huge hit. delicious food and huge drink menu.

TLDR/: keep political opinions to yourself when working customer service. Usually go here for an espresso martini when I go shopping. Walked in to the bar to sit down. A waitress was loudly talking about how Americans are bad at cooking and how people from other countries are the only people that can fix those recipes.. which is the perfect example with everything wrong with America…bro what??? It’s was 3 pm on a Thursday, I’m proudly an independent liberal. there’s no reason to be saying all that in a bar with 2 other people at where everyone can hear you. It was rude, insulting and awkward. Working in visit customer service you should know that you should be talking about that front of house. Also insulting the US while living in the US is wild.

We went there to try the hot chocolate flights. They served me my friends alcoholic flight, despite us confirming when they came to the table that I had the right one. I had a severe reaction and was very sick. The waitress didn’t even apologize. Our food was just okay. Even without the mix up I would not spend my money here again. They did not have a handicap accessible restroom.
Dietary restrictions: I was very clear that I would have a severe reaction to alcohol and they were not careful and gave me alcoholic drinks. I would not recommend this place to people with allergies.

I loved my experience at this place! It was so beautiful 🩷 my girlfriend and I went there on a date and had an amazing time. They sat us right in front of the window glancing out upon Newberry St. They had the most delicious boozy hot chocolate flight I’ve ever tasted! The food was also delicious. We had fried calamari, truffle fries, and the salmon dish. The only reason I gave the food 4 stars is because our salmon did come out raw in the middle at first, but they quickly made us a new one and took it off our bill without us asking! Our server was also amazing! Would recommend.
