Great pre-matinee brunch - really outstanding service and food, with a special nod to the churro pop-tart starter which almost ended up as a finisher had we left more room...the hangover burger was terrific (and more than a bit messy, but in a good way) and the Essex omelet equally satisfying.

We really wanted to like it. It looks inviting and cozy, but it’s just not great. Service was awful…had to wait too long to be seated, simple sodas took 15 minutes to arrive. The food was just ok. Again…it looks and sounds amazing, but it just….isn’t. Would not recommend. Hate that it was our last meal in Boston while on vacation.

The food was overpriced but understandable for the premium spot. I got a $18 mac n cheese and it was just kinda meh. As an Oklahoman native I think most oklahomans would be disappointed. Like seriously no pistol pete anywhere. Also our waitress only checked on us to take orders and give us our receipt. Unfortunately I will not come here again. Go pokes!!

I started off with a classic mimosa which was delicious. I ordered Cheesy Crispy Tacos from the brunch menu. They looked beautiful. The carrots and peppers were lightly pickled with a slight bit of spice to them. The pork was smokey and tender. The sauce was flavorful. I would have liked it to be a bit more spicey for my taste. The restaurant is very open and full of light. It stretches along Lincoln Street with floor to ceiling windows. It has a very clean and modern feel. There is a nice long bar area with three TVs. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Great food and it's very close walking distance to the south station.
The drinks were amazing, we loved the Go Fig-ure and the Cran-basil Smash. Staff was very kind and efficient. We came for the pb&j creme brulee and it did not disappoint! We went for a post-work dinner and it was pleasantly quiet. They also give you a postcard with the check!

The food was interesting, you HAVE to try the corn chowder! We'll definitely be going back for that! Be careful with the cocktails. We weren't sure of them, so asked the waitress for help with picking sweeter ones. She didn't know what she was talking about, and we spent money on drinks we both hated. Mine was sour, and my friend's was SPICY. We still drank them, but we stopped after just one, and we usually like to have two when we are out. We'll get food from there again, we talked about wanting that soup again, but we'll probably just order out.

I am posting this for the Mac and cheese girlies- I saw Stillwater as a top Mac and cheese restaurant in Boston, and immediately wanted to have it while I was here for a work trip. If you like creamy saucy Mac n cheese with a mild taste, this is absolutely your dish. However, if you prefer Mac and cheese with a sharper, more cheddar based dish, you will be disappointed.
The app I got was delightful and I can see why people rate this highly, so hoping to share a transparent review that will help others!

Definitely a little more upscale than we're used to, and we spend a while googling several words on the menu lol. Everything we tried was delicious, and they were very accommodating with adding side orders since we had a hard time narrowing down our choices. The only negative was that some of the dishes/glasses/utensils themselves were not completely clean.
