We eat out all over the world, and have previously enjoyed Strega on at least two occasions; once at this location and once at a different Boston location which has since closed. This was the worst experience we have had dining out in a very very long time. First, there was virtually no service, our table was virtually ignored most of the evening. The staff was incredibly professional, and the linguine clams were cooked perfection. The portions were extraordinarily big typically in a restaurant like this you get tiny portions for a big price, but I would go back a second time for sure!
Unfortunately, the service was not good. We barely saw our waiter and had to order dinner with the bartender when he came over to replace an incorrect drink order, or we may have been there a lot longer waiting to order. The food is okay, definitely not a true Cacio e Pepe. I don't think we'll be back.
