I really enjoyed visiting and the people working were super sweet. The owner chatted with us for a bit and we felt very welcome

The blonde manager lady looked at me and decided to charge me $3.50 for tap water. The cashier even whispered “sorry” because she knew it was a brand new policy for just for me. Microwaved croissant was ok. I will not be returning.

This is my go-to coffee shop every single day! I live a 2 minute walk from Sugar Bowl and the first time I tried it, I was a bit unsure. I got hot chocolate the first time but after that I started trying their coffees. The almond joy is the best. Ava (the barista) is a fantastic worker and super friendly, and Kathy (one of the owners) is super nice and hardworking 😊 I love this place!

The first ever coffee shop in a city to ask paying customers to leave because they’re on their laptops when there is no sign asking people not to be on their laptops. Rather than getting tables to seat customers during the morning rush, they have deemed it easier to ask customers to leave instead. Not how i would choose to treat a member of the community if i was a small business owner. Id recommend the Dunks across the street instead.

I was very excited to try a new local coffee shop, but I was quickly disappointed by the overall experience. I asked to get a cup of steamed milk but was told I would be charged for a latte (which was $6), even if I didn’t want the espresso. The manager interrupted and very snidely explained that once a cup of milk was steamed it became a latte. I then asked if we could get just a cup of milk and they said yes and it was $3. The barista asked if we maybe wanted a hot chocolate instead and when we asked how much that was, the manager again butted in and said that their prices were in the menu (while there was a hot chocolate, it had espresso in it and I just wanted to know if there was a price difference for plain hot chocolate). We ended up paying $3 for the smallest cup of milk ever (for some reason, they put the milk in the smallest hot cup even though the milk was cold). Despite this exchange only lasting about 2 minutes, the manager is visibly angry and tells the people behind us that she can take their order and continues to glare at us as we finish ordering and paying. When we leave the shop, my friend says thank you and goodbye to the manager and she completely ignored them and gave them a dirty look. After looking at other reviews the owners don’t seem open to criticism or improving the quality of their service and are knit interested in arguing. I would not recommend my worker enemy go here. If you dare to go, it should only be for the blind tiger. I have warned all of my coworkers to never visit. I hope the owner realizes that antagonizing customers is probably not a good business strategy.

Paid $5.88 for a cappuccino today — the milk was sour, they replaced it, and it was sour again. Bad coffee overall. I also asked for the bathroom and was told there is no ‘public’ (?) restroom. Avoid.

I visited today and asked for a chai as it was on the menu but they were out, then asked for an iced latte and got a hot latte. I asked for a glass of ice water and was given just water which is fine because I forgot to ask while ordering. When I walked out the door slammed shut and I spilled my coffee on myself. When I went inside I had to awkwardly get in the middle of a group ordering because it was the only place to get napkins.

Then I tried my latte and it was burnt and dark, I only took one sip before pouring it out to see thick grounds at the bottom. My friend took a sip of her tea and said it also taste disgusting.

I specifically chose a local place instead of Dunkin, Starbucks or Panera which were close by since the coffee is usually terrible but then ended up having a terrible experience anyway.

The barista was very friendly however the other woman was harsh and snappy. It was very busy while I went so I was expecting a much better experience.

- I ordered a chicken salad on toast with no tomato and still got tomato.
- I asked how many slices of bread came with the toast, and the Barista reacted as if I’m weird and shot me a dirty look before realizing what I was asking and apologizing quietly but the energy was still off.
- I asked about the back room that was closed to patrons out of curiosity and the Barista responded with “That’s for us.” As if I’d personally insulted them for asking. It’s all in the tone + reaction.
- The place itself has good bones and is very charming, it smelled really nice inside.
- But overall I felt like I was intruding in the space, other patrons would come in and the staff would welcome and chat with them, but the eye contact and body language made me feel like I was unwelcome. God forbid a customer try someplace new. I don’t think I’ll be back unfortunately.

Was a really close walk from where we were staying and the ambience was really nice! We ordered an extra hot cappuccino, it was definitely extra hot but it was more of a latte. Server was really nice as well.
