I only used the small booth on the first floor next to Cohan Hall. I did not visit the dining room. I purchased a roast beef 🍖 sandwich 🥪 and it came with Cape Cod potatoe chips and a slice of pickle 🥒 on the side. I ordered a drink from the bar. Seating was available near the bar.
Though overpriced, it tasted okay 👌. I was surprisingly hungry later. You can bring your purchase to your seat 🪑 but I figured people would be annoyed with the sound of crunching...
Amazing food and service. There are stations for soup, cheese, fruits, dinner rolls, salads, entrees, sides, and desserts. Hot tea and coffee are complimentary with the meal. You do to have a concert ticket first to get admittance into Symphony Hall. So buy your ticket and then make reservations for the symphony Café for the day of the concert. Patrons have up to 2.5 hours to dine before the evening concert starts. $60 for the dinner buffet ($48 plus tax and mandatory...
Had a great pre-concert meal at Symphony Hall. Can't beat the convenience, and a meal here helps enhance the entire experience. Best of all, the buffet is back after being dropped until this season due to Covid. The appetizers, soup, salad, entrees (roaster salmon and maple chicken), and deserts were delicious. Wait staff were very attentive and the pricing is reasonable. Highly recommended.
