We went for gelato and everything was bad, the service was terrible and the gelato was awful. I asked if I could try one of the flavors and they said they didn’t give samples so I got the peach and cream which tasted like cough syrup which I ended up throwing away. The tiramisu was very mediocre as well. Not going back.

I wish you could give zero stars. I was in yesterday at 3pm and asked for a hot black coffee with a mocha flavoring. I first received a cold coffee in a hot coffee cup. I went back in and was told that it was cold because the hot coffee was refilling. One of the girls then put my coffee under the steaming machine, after i had taken a sip from the cup. When i questioned this she told me that there was a setting that just heated coffee and didnt put steamed milk out. Definitely not true as my coffee was returned to me with steamed milk in it. Absolute joke. I should have asked for my $$ back. Not going to stay in business when you can’t make a hot black coffee. Not to mention the unsanitary conditions by heating up a drink that one person already sipped with a machine that is used on other people’s drinks.
I understand the whole hype, this place is located on the north end, it summer time snd everyone wants ice cream, but it’s not the best gelato. What I don’t like is they they’re taking cash (dirty money) and then they use their bare hands to place the cookie on top of your gelato. They don’t wear gloves or even use a clamper to place the cookie on top. There were two young ladies…why wasn’t one taking the money and the other prepping the gelato. They should know better. Period!
Bad service

You’re probably not going to see this comment anyway. This place deletes negative reviews and has the worst pistachio gelato you can think of.
Asked for an espresso and didn’t receive one. The fascination with filling the cup isn’t an espresso not the mention the burnt taste and the cost of $5 (Cash only). A disgrace for Boston as it’s a beautiful city.

Really small place for excellent gelato. Not really a cafe for sitting as much as a walk-in place for deserts. It's worth it to break away from the Freedom Trail to come over here for something sweet! The chocolate is really nice, if you like that flavor.

Our family of 6 got gelato here on a hot afternoon - every flavor we tried was amazing! Nice little shop. They had the door propped open which kept it hot inside, but I get it, probably more people come in that way.
