Everyone was helpful, and all our party enjoyed their food. The waiters advised on the menu to assist our party. It was a pleasant experience.
The three of us were all very pleased by our dining choices. The warm lobster roll was "luscious" and better than the usual mayo-laden cold roll. The special shrimp tacos were delicious. And my Arcadian redfish arrived exactly as I was warned: A large, complete fish, somewhat scary on the plate, fried to perfection and worth the effort to cut the tender white meat off the bone. What an unusual and wonderful meal!
We visited Tamo during our trip to Boston. We wanted a quick comfortable meal without hassle. It was conveniently located at the Seaport Hotel. The restaurant has a large bar and comfortable seating in the dining area. We were seated quickly, and the server was friendly and prompt. We ordered a nice cocktail which was delicious and had the clam chowder appetizer. My wife is vegan and had a tofu main course. Nicely prepared and she loved it. I had the Bolognese pappardelle, and it was also very good. There are many upscale, exciting restaurants in the Seaport area but if you are in the mood for a quick, no frills, enjoyable meal, Tamo is definitely a good choice.
TAMO was pretty good. We went two separate nights, once at the bar, once at the table. The bar service was a little better than table service. The drinks were all great. It wasn't too loud. Everyone was pretty nice. Dinner was fine, not the best. The desserts were wonderful. I forgot to take pictures the first time. That bread pudding was amazing. We would sit at the bar if we stayed at Seaport again.

Plats absolument sans goût. Le poisson et le homard auraient mérité une sauce un peu relevée. Les desserts étaient corrects.
I was a party of 8 thankfully everyone liked their food. I did not like my lobster roll was way too salty and saturated with butter ( best if it was on the side).
During our recent stay at the Seaport Hotel, my husband, son, and I dined at TAMO Bistro + Bar—an experience that has become a cherished tradition for our family each August as part of our end-of-summer celebration. This year, our visit coincided with Boston's Dine-In Week, and we were especially impressed with the prix fixe menu offerings. The spatchcock Cornish hen was a standout—beautifully prepared and full of flavor. We also appreciated the creative use of honey sourced from the Seaport's own rooftop hives, which added a unique and thoughtful touch to several menu items. The ambiance at TAMO continues to be one of its strongest qualities: relaxed, inviting, and well-suited for both adults and families. The staff went out of their way to ensure our 5-year-old son felt welcome, which we deeply appreciated. Each time we stay at the Seaport Hotel, dining at TAMO remains a highlight of our visit. We look forward to returning again next year.
Food was 10/10 and they accommodated our vegetarian requests nicely. And there were fireworks we could enjoy right from the window!

Tamo was extremely disappointing. I ordered the salmon and it was raw in the middle. Not medium rare, but raw to the point where my knife would not cut it. My partner's mussels were also undercooked. At a restaurant focused on seafood, both seafood dishes were not properly cooked. The waiter's explanation was that the chef was out so there were "a bunch of boys in the kitchen." I would not recommend dining here.
A great not as well known spot in the Seaport...interesting menu and great preparations. All the staff is terrific and very welcoming. It's in the Seaport Hotel so check it out!
The lobster roll was fishy and strange tasting. Not a New England lobster roll and really not good.
It was our anniversary and it was so great. We really really had a great time. My friend recommened me this place since she lives near by and it was one of the best restaurantes we have been to. The inside is beautiful, I would love to bring my parents but we'll def be back. Our server Ibro was very nice and atrentive. Thank you to the manager and server, everything was perfect.
Easter brunch was expensive and not worth the money. Most of the food was just run of the mill buffet fare.
