Food was delicious. Service was very friendly. The Peruvian potatoes are yellow and mashed seasoned beautifully. The seasoning is very different to anything I've had before and it was delicious. The Paiche fish was flaky and again, seasoned well. Outdoor seating is available. And the indoor seating is fully ventilated because the whole front of the restaurant is open. The street is a I'll call you in a bit noisy, but there is a nice view of downtown and the other restaurants in Hanover.

Taranta was delicious! Myself and 5 other guests dined at Taranta during the COVID-19 pandemic when they were able to open up outdoor dining. We loved it! The service was great; our waiter was able to share with us his favorite wines and dishes. The wine selection was great. Their Malbecs in stock are awesome. The Peruvian and Italian fusion was so different and impeccable! Each person's dish was a different flavor, just varying between each, but each one was unique and scrumptious. Would highly recommend!

We were so happy to learn that one of our favorite restaurants - Taranta - now has outdoor seating! Located on the first block of Hanover Street, they masterfully combine Peruvian and Italian herbs and spices into truly delicious dishes. Some of our favorites are the yucca gnocchi, amazon paiche, trout, pork, octopus, and mussels. Their drinks and desserts are amazing, too. The servers are always knowledgeable and friendly, and in a post-COVID world, they are going above and beyond to take every safety precaution. If you've never been, we highly recommend that you go!

I was at Taranta Sunday night, they opened on Tuesday. We had appetizers, ceviche, steak tips and 2 different salads. I loved the salad that included arugula and hearts of palm. Best salad I have had in a while. I will be going back to try the other items on the menu.

Good food, very nice people and a sweet atmosphere. Flavourful and dynamic dishes that are unlike other Italian restaurants. They were also very accommodating of dietary restrictions and flexible with the menu options.

Best Pisco sour in Boston. Excellent food in a small and quaint location. Very convenient location from Government Center and Haymarket right at the foot of Hanover St. The trout is an especially unique dish and the salmon is always a good choice. Reservations are are good idea but don't seem to always be required.

Ambiance here is sublime. The best service (shout out to Marin). Great drinks. And, in addition to the regular menu, a dedicated vegan menu here. My meals have always been delicious. Pricey but you'll taste and experience the difference. This is standout in the North End restaurant scene. Highly recommended.
