Nice bakery with a good view for people-watching. They forgot the vanilla in my latte but everything was quick and tasty.

Tatte Bakery & Cafe was an underwhelming experience overall. The service was average, but there were a few frustrating moments. Hugh, the manager, told us we couldn’t add cheese to a meal even though the menu clearly listed an extra charge for cheese. Additionally, my husband ordered a black coffee and we waited for quite some time, only to realize it had been sitting behind the counter near the coffee machines the whole time. Not the level of attentiveness we expected.

Not sure if its just this Tatte location or if all Tattes have gone down in quality over the years?? I lived in Boston for a number of years but have since moved away. I went back to visit in Sept. 2025 and was thoroughly let down by the quality and taste of the baked goods. I used to love the kouign amanns but this one tasted a day or two old. The morning bun was much better.

They have delicious baked goods and incredibly flavorful sandwiches. We grabbed some pastries and desserts for a picnic at the park.
Great place for lunch or dinner. Not too expensive, very affordable prices. Good place for office outing with small number of people or for a quick bite. They have pastries and drinks as well. Its walkable to the waterside, so perfect if you want to grab food and walk there to eat and have a nice view.

Tatte Bakery & Cafe brings me back to Paris with items like Croque Madame and Salmon Tartar, fresh croissant, teas and artisan coffee. Dawn in subway tile and positioned adjacent to the Seaport in Boston. This place is relaxing and offers a delicious menu.

Although their bakery products and sandwiches are tasty (above average), I visited this location for coffee and was very disappointed. The coffee is consistently served like warm; even on the cool side; even when it is freshly brewed. I speculate they are using brewers which brew at a lower temperature ( reduces brewing time); which also reduces flavor extraction. So go for the food; avoid if you want coffee.

Very good. The bagel is very tasty and has a strong flavor of sesame.

Tatte is exactly what I want in a cafe. I spent every day of my Boston visit here (fingers crossed they make it to Philly one day).
Every location has huge windows, comfy cushions, and a relaxed atmosphere. You are not rushed out and feel welcome to hang here for hours. (You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table.)
The menu has a large and diverse selection of items I have never had before and loved: a matcha bomb, white and peach iced tea, strawberry chamomile tea, broccolini/squash pita, chai latte - everything we had was delicious. I wanted to keep trying new things every day and always felt surprised and delighted.

Great place for breakfast/brunch. The food is good, the value is good and the staff is friendly. I recommend going there as it is very spacious, but there’s a limited amount of tables. It would great if there was an extra 1-2 tables.

Went here on New Year’s Day, and their dishwasher broken, so everything ended up in to-go boxes. But food is decent as always. Nice place for brunch!

No vegan options for food. You'd be stuck trying to order salads minis the cheese or ordering avocado toast without cheese but even then many of their breads are loaded with animal products.
