Tatte never disappoints, but I have to highlight two standouts: the almond croissant and the strawberry-filled donut.
The almond croissant is perfectly crisp on the outside with those beautiful, toasted almond flakes, and the inside is soft, buttery, and rich with almond paste—not too sweet, just right. You can taste the quality of the ingredients, and it feels indulgent without being overwhelming.
The strawberry-filled donut was a surprise hit. It’s light and pillowy, dusted with just the right amount of sugar, and filled generously with real strawberry jam that tastes homemade. The flavor is fresh and fruity, not artificial at all, which I really appreciate.
The atmosphere at Tatte makes everything taste better—warm, elegant, and always buzzing with life. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick treat or lingering with a coffee, it’s a place that invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment.

Waited a half hour for breakfast, once we finally brought it up to them that we were waiting that long, they brought us out cold food.

Plain croissant is less than average for sure. Almond was better but not fab. Breakfast was better but I remember it being way better than it was.

Don't make the mistake of ordering during lunch; the wait was over 1 hour to collect the food

Good was very good. Service was very busy so it wasn’t as attentive. Would recommend.

Tatte Bakery & Cafe is a gem! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It looks like a popular spot, especially on weekends—expect a wait, but it’s worth it for the quality and cozy atmosphere. Perfect for brunch or a quick coffee break!
Atmosphere was very chic, it was our first breakfast in Boston and this place helped to make a great first impression.

They completely screwed up my order. Sending something I am allergic to. Incredibly disappointed

The shakshuka is amazing! The atmosphere is laid back casual, the seasonal offerings are delicious, and the pastries are great too. Right on Pier 4, dining inside or out is pleasant.

The food and service are always solid, but sometimes finding a seat can be an issue when it’s busy even just for 2 people.

Very good
Came in for a hot coffee and it was warm, overpriced, busy, and no proper customer service. Asked for an extra hot latte, and received a room temperature latte instead. I have visited the DC location as well, and also not the best place either. I will not be returning. Expensive for nothing, and lacks authenticity. Do better.
