Delicious! I had to be up early for a workshop & I needed to bring my own breakfast & lunch.
I scheduled my order from the night before. When I got to Tatte, it was ready for pickup - such a smooth experience. I had an oat milk matcha latte & an egg, ham & cheese croissant for breakfast. And I had a turkey avocado sandwich for lunch. Oh and a little monkey bread as an afternoon treat. Everything was delicious and was $38 before tip!
Not bad for two meals & a treat!

There’s a specific staff member that just cackles all day. Very disruptive.

Maybe my favorite Tatte location so far!
This South End café is spacious with plenty of seating and very clean. There are lots of staff working, and I was helped within just a few minutes—my food came out quickly too. The atmosphere is calm with no loud music, making it easy to have a conversation. The chicken soup was delicious and definitely recommended. It’s also very close to art galleries and antique shops, which makes it a perfect place to stop while spending the day in the area.

Food wasn’t that good. We got the bfast sandwich and the sourdough that it comes with was stale and doughy and not toasted enough. Overrated. Pumpkin tahini latte was good though. The tatte in south Boston is better.

⭐ Review for Tatte Bakery & Café — South End ⭐
Rating: ★★★★★
Tatte South End is one of those places that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The café has a warm, stylish vibe with beautiful pastries on display and a cozy atmosphere that feels perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even just a coffee break.
I tried a few items and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The pastries taste like they came straight out of a European bakery, and the coffee is strong and smooth. The staff were friendly, quick, and always smiling, even during busy hours.
What I loved most was how comfortable the space felt — bright, clean, and full of energy. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down with friends, it’s the kind of place that makes the experience feel special.
Highly recommend stopping by Tatte in the South End. It’s definitely a Boston must-visit. ☕🥐✨

Good service great for a quick snack, had a slightly odd taste to the sandwich but might have been the type of butter or oil they use to grill just not used to it

No one at the cashier at 1:08PM. Had to walk around too find someone to place an order. When we ask for help they give us attitude like they’re doing us a favor.
