Nice place but usually packed
Rude managers and very expensive to make any alterations
Great pastry options
I love the branch of Tatte because of the calm environment, beautiful view, delicious cakes.
1 star for Tatte Bakery. Worst service I’ve experienced in Boston so far — a complete mess! Took over 30 minutes, not because it was busy, but because the cashier was incredibly slow. The place was dirty, like they don’t care what customers see. The coffee was mediocre and the pastries were terrible. Looks nice, but the quality doesn’t match the price. Absolutely not recommended.
One person doing everything — and on top of that, slow! Put some effort into it, and pick up the pace! Another one was weighing ice in a dirty bucket!!
The food was good, convenient location, and good vibes. Only complaint is that they were a little slow clearing the tables of dirty plates but I guess that's because they are busy. I would eat here again regardless.
Amazing place!

Ordered Salmon with Rice bowl - Rice was over salted! Also had a sandwich with salmon and avocado - sauce and onion were rotten!
It was the most awful experience I ever had..

Got my order wrong 3 times in a row and overcharged me. Avoid this chain and go somewhere legit where they actually care.

Best bakery EVER. A gorgeous array of flaky pastries and fantastic brunch. Highly recommend their creamy goat cheese mousse to pair with their eggs.

We ordered a meal that was supposed to be gluten free. It turned up and wasn't. When we questioned it the waitress grunted at us and begrudgingly took it away. It was reserected and returned to us

I came here with my father fairly early in the morning and the line was already about 5 minutes long. There were a lot of people but everything comes out very fast and the workers are highly efficient. I had a pumpkin seed praline tea cake and my father ordered a cappuccino. I didn’t try the cappuccino so I cannot comment on it’s taste, but the tea cake was very delicious. The pumpkin seeds on top added a nice crunch to the very soft dense cake. There was a lovely hint of toffee throughout the te cake that added some additional flavor to each bite. The prices here are on the more expensive side, but it’s definitely because each pastry take thought and time to create. I had the mocha espresso mouse and that was less good—a little overset and the biscuit was soggy.

Pastries were very mid and although we dined in, they didn’t even warm it up for us (probably could have asked) the house latte was good and would rec to those who like cardamom. The black sesame latte was ok, didn’t taste too much like black sesame, and there were big bits of sesame seeds in our latte. We didn’t order the brunch menu, but I would say I wouldn’t necessarily come back for the pastries again.
