Delicious halal Somali restaurant inside the MIT Students Center food court. Food was sold over a counter in Styrofoam boxes. We had beef biryani which was tasty. Beware of the hot sauce offered separately. It is very hot. We were given tea for free.

Most of the reviews here seem to be for the now-closed East Boston location. I ate at the fast casual location in the MIT student center in Cambridge, and the beef biryani was fantastic.

The best Somali food in town. Tried their chicken and rice - absolutely delicious, and they included Sambusa with my order ?FYI: Found the place inside MIT on the 2nd floor. Got a bit lost with maps, but called their number on Google, and they guided me in. The Google pics show another branch in East Boston( not sure if the East Boston spot is open atm ), but the new spot inside MIT is where it's at.

Good food and even better service. I only ordered a chicken biryani but Michael up front gave me hummus and pita bread on the house (for the kid). When I realized I was missing my receipt they went through the hassle of going through the system and delivering the receipt to our table. Could not recommend enough.

It is nice little place but I would say in winter time more suitable for take out then dine in. The seating is very limited and it’s first come first sits. It’s buffet style place.
Cozy place to get food. Rice and spaghetti dishes are the main options but you can ask for some customizations. Friendly staff.

I’ve been here twice and had quite a few items on the menu. Delicious and authentic cuisine. Chicken biryani was great.A little bit on the expensive side for me to become a regular, but definitely worth checking out.

Cramped but don’t let that stop you. Amazingly, the chicken soup was absolute fire - and you never expect soup to wow you. The kabob biryani have a very interesting flavor too.

I had a layover in Boston and decided to go to this place that is pretty close to the airport. I asked about vegan options and they said they had no vegan options, only vegetarian.
I said I've read reviews on Google Maps, Instagram and people mentioned they have vegan options - the guy working looked confused.
I asked why the chickpea with vegetables was not vegan and he didn't know. I asked: do you use butter, milk? He just said yes
I do not reccomend this place. They don't know the ingredients and the place looks dirty.
