Small family owned restaurant with a healthy amount of vegan options. Their butter bean bread dip is something I crave weekly. They have vegan ravioli, an actually good vegan spring salad, and a couple of vegan pasta options. For dessert usually a sorbet or two. If you like Italian food this place is worth checking out! Staff are very knowledgeable about what id and isn’t vegan. Things are clearly labeled on menu for most part
The risotto is absolutely the most amazing thing I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to Italy a million times!). They also have vegan meatballs!
Appreciated all of the vegan options clearly marked on the menu. Enjoyed everything I had.
I was in town for a conference and had heard all about the North End, but couldn’t find many vegan options. Luckily I stumbled upon Terramia. Multiple vegan options and knowledgeable about their menu. I got the ravioli and broccoli rabe. Both were delicious. If we are ever in Boston again I’ll definitely come back.
This is by far one of my favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to. The staff was so sweet and the service was excellent. I got the vegan gnocchi and it is by far the best gnocchi I have ever had. My husband got the vegan meatballs and spaghetti and it was amazing. They even had vegan wine. Updated from previous review on 2025-03-31
Great service and atmosphere. We had the vegan ravioli and vegan meatballs. Both of those were really good.

Terrific little North End place! Maybe 20 tables total, so definitely get a reservation. Wonderful short rib raviolis, swordfish, you really can't go wrong here with anything!
Parking: Best option is either to Uber or one of the paid parking garages around the North End.
Kid-friendliness: Not for small kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not a good spot for wheelchairs.

If you're looking for a warm, low-key Italian spot in Boston’s North End, Terramia Ristorante is a must-visit. This place has a cozy, intimate feel, perfect for a relaxed night out.
What makes it stand out? The vegan and vegetarian options are legit—not just an afterthought. The Vegano Ravioli is packed with zucchini, eggplant, and red bell peppers, served with a choice of San Marzano tomato sauce or aglio e olio. The Gnocchi ai Funghi with wild mushrooms and truffle oil is another solid pick.
On top of the great food, the service is top-notch. The staff is super friendly, knows the menu well, and makes you feel right at home.
Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or just love delicious, thoughtfully made Italian food, Terramia won’t disappoint. Highly recommend for a chill, flavorful meal!

Good restaurant. I had the ravioli alla amatriciana which was very good but I wish the portion size was larger. My wife had the spaghetti carbonara and it was wonderful and filling. I would recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food, great options for plant-based folks like me! The cannellini bean dip they serve with bread as a snack is delish. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Loved it!

Just a superb delectable selection of vegan and several gluten free items. Th favorites were the bean dip for bread, gnocchi al fungi, rigatoni and the eggplant soy vegan meatballs. The mushroom risotto is not to be missed. Service was friendly warm and eager to share favorites- definitely coming back.

It is so rare to have good, authentic Italian food as a vegan. I had all but given up on my beloved quaint corner restaurants with tablecloths and staff that make you feel like you’re at home until I came here. We made a reservation (which I recommend because it’s a smaller space with only a handful of tables). We were probably the only party who made a 4pm reservation but we had tickets for an event later and wanted to give ourselves enough time. When we walked it it was like they were welcoming family home. They took our coats and put them on a coat rack and had a table already set up for us. Complimentary bread with a white bean dip was delicious. I got the Vegan Ravioli and will be dreaming about it for days. Even my non-vegan partner said he wished he got that instead. Overall a great experience, wish I could give them 5/5 stars.
