We just happened upon this great spot while looking to grab a quick mid-day bite in Boston. We shared the fish and chips, which is a large enough portion for two people. The haddock was so fresh, lightly battered to a perfect delicate crunch and the meat was so flaky. It was fried perfectly. And our food came out piping hot. We also enjoyed the clam chowder, and our server Tara was so kind to recommend trying it with their signature hot sauce, which I was initially skeptical about (at first), but it was pretty darn good! I even loved it on the fish! The cherry on top was Tara's warm and welcoming spirit. She was so kind, gave wonderful recommendations and was so attentive. Please give her a raise/bonus or something, because she is really something special! We truly enjoyed everything! Thank you guys for a wonderful experience! Next time we're in Boston. We'll be back.
Had a great time watching soccer/futbol at the Banshee. I've been there a few times and have enjoyed the service and the food. The Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza was very good.
Enjoyed the most unique entertainment on the 9th of June. That place was buzzing. The quiz show, the games the trivia. All were perfect. š¤©
Best guinness and fish and chips in Boston!
Trying to capture the energy of The Banshee during a game is nearly impossible. The vibes, the live music, the perfect Guinness pour ā and above all, the dream.
This is where me and the lads come to shake off lifeās sharp edges. Politics and ideologies stay at the door; the only thing that matters here is the brotherhood at the table in front of you.
I come to The Banshee for a glimpse of what the world could be like if peace reigned. After enough nights here, Iām convinced that global conflicts could be settled if leaders just spent an hour at that front booth, chatting things out over a pint of Irish brew.
But if youāre reading this ā donāt take that booth. That oneās ours. I have also never had the food here but I imagine itās great. To be fair Iāll give it 3 stars.
All are welcome. Letās have a day.
I came here this past June with some friends. Shoutout to the bartending staff, especially the female ones, for being so lovely and accommodating for my friend on her birthday! Yāall were great.
The reason Iām giving this establishment 3 stars instead of 5 is because right when we left, my four friends and I got harassed right in front of the Banshee, and the male bouncer on duty did absolutely NOTHING to help us. He stared and watched while a 6ā3ā man got very close and persistently threatened to follow us home.
In a world where women are constantly made to feel unsafe, an ally - especially one in a position of authority, makes a huge difference. This bouncer was a bystander that night. Very disappointing.
Best place to watch the footy every weekend.

I went to this bar with 9 friends on Wednesday (12/11/2024). They were buying drinks and left a tip despite the bartender was not being nice to us. When it was my turn to pay, the bartender said to me and to another friend that we were "annoying" because we wanted to pay separately. We found the comment, the bartender's attitude and the way she was treating us very rude and impolite. We decided not to tip her because of the awful "service" received. After this, she decided not to serve drinks anymore to my group of friends (potentially losing 100 dollars because we had the intention of ordering at least 15 more beers). She excused her actions saying that two of us did not tip her and won't stop giving us bad looks. Honestly, we won't be coming back and I don't recommend people to come here. She gave us such a bad vibe and we could not enjoy the night as we would have liked to.

Very good burger, thick juicy and medium rare. The potato soup is very good as well. Quiet for lunch during the week. Staff attentive. Would come back for the burger.

We hosted our ten-year reunion at the Banshee, and it was perfect! The staff was attentive, the space was ideal for mingling, and the food and drinks were a hit. They went above and beyond to make the night special. Highly recommend for any event!

Showed up last Saturday to watch the Formula 1 Sprint Race. The whole floor was packing for a big soccer game that was on every TV set. Owner offered to open the second floor just for us to watch F1. And the Guinness was flowing! We couldn't ask for anything more! Thank you The Banshee for this memorable Saturday morning!
