Open mike night is a big draw to this restaurant, with a range of high-level musicians. A frequent performer, Ben Jacobs, is not to be missed!
Sadly we showed up during open mic comedy with our underage daughters for dinner. The “comedy” was crude and vile especially for young girls. Would have been nice if someone would have told us that inside might not have been the best option for our family on this particular night.
For families dining in Boston on a budget this place delivers and the music and service are perfect
Everything was great we really loved the jazz! Noreen is amazing and the drinks are great and so is the food!
It was 90 degrees outside and all of the windows and doors were open with no air conditioning or fans. Too hot to stay and eat
Not a lot of great what I would call value options left near where the Bebop is. Menu had more variety that we were expecting, it was loud but it's a small bar that was packed and had really good music playing. If you're looking for quiet fine dining, look elsewhere; if you're looking for a really good place before an event in the Fenway area that doesn't crush your wallet, consider here!
We made a reservation here before a show at the Berkelee Performance Center. There was seating outside as well as inside and the live music was great ( loud but great ) drinks were just ok so I only ordered one. We ordered the appetizer platter which was good. I got the chicken broccoli and ziti but it was so salty I only ate maybe half. My husband got a burger and really liked that. My daughter had the pulled pork sandwich which she really liked said bbq sauce was nice and sweet. We didn't get dessert. Service was fine. It's just a quick 5 minute walk to the Berkelee performance center so very convenient if seeing a show.
Stated simply, we loved it. music was great_very talented musicians. We lingered and there was no pressure to move on. Food portions were healthy to say the least and food was excellent. Will return for sure.
Great vibe. Love the live music! Tables on the 1st floor are a little tight/close. Food/prices are decent.
Excellent Pub. Good music every night. Good food and the kind of service and atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular. Staff has been there for years.

We had a large group for Easter Sunday brunch. Our service was prompt and attentive. Food was really good and the best value during our entire trip. Loved the live music as well.
We stopped in before a Red Sox game for lunch and drinks. The service is outstanding, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food is great and a great value. It's a fun place with live music most of the time.
We were visiting the area and this place came recommended. The ambience was a bit boisterous and loud due to the band but we sat upstairs so not as bad although we did have to shout at each other to be heard. Seemed like a student hang out as people kept showing up who knew each other which was neat. Services was good until it started to get crowded then it was a bit spotty. Loved that they had so many Irish beers on draft and at a reasonable price. Food overall was delicious and the portions HUGE for the price. Clam chowder was adequate but hit the spot on a cold and rainy night. The shepherds pie was good but the steak tips were very tender and very flavorful and the portion could have fed me for three meals. We'll be back!
We had a great time. Food was wonderful. Waitstaff kind and courteous. We will definitely return!
The waitstaff was very kind. We went for an early lunch so a reservation was not really needed but I recommend that - it was quiet and the staff was available, food was delicious and timely.
