Excellent Pub. Good music every night. Good food and the kind of service and atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular. Staff has been there for years.
We had a large group for Easter Sunday brunch. Our service was prompt and attentive. Food was really good and the best value during our entire trip. Loved the live music as well.
We stopped in before a Red Sox game for lunch and drinks. The service is outstanding, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food is great and a great value. It's a fun place with live music most of the time.
We were visiting the area and this place came recommended. The ambience was a bit boisterous and loud due to the band but we sat upstairs so not as bad although we did have to shout at each other to be heard. Seemed like a student hang out as people kept showing up who knew each other which was neat. Services was good until it started to get crowded then it was a bit spotty. Loved that they had so many Irish beers on draft and at a reasonable price. Food overall was delicious and the portions HUGE for the price. Clam chowder was adequate but hit the spot on a cold and rainy night. The shepherds pie was good but the steak tips were very tender and very flavorful and the portion could have fed me for three meals. We'll be back!
We had a great time. Food was wonderful. Waitstaff kind and courteous. We will definitely return!
The waitstaff was very kind. We went for an early lunch so a reservation was not really needed but I recommend that - it was quiet and the staff was available, food was delicious and timely.
We needed a place to have dinner between visiting the MFA and a concert at Berklee's Performance Center (just around the corner). I found Bebop on Google Maps and we decided to give it a try. It was great! Food and drinks were delicious, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was surprised that when we arrived at 4:45 pm, it was already busy, but we got a great table on the upper level overlooking the first floor. (I had made reservations for 5 pm.) We stayed until 7:15 (Berklee opened for the performance at 7:30) and at that point the Bebop was getting pretty crowded, with live music starting soon. I appreciate that we weren't chased out of our seats -- we did order an extra round of drinks which hopefully bought us some extra time. I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem -- great food, drinks, and service, a really convenient location, excellent vegetarian options (THANK YOU!) and plenty of Irish ambience. I don't know how loud it gets once the live music starts, but we'll be back to find out. :)
Good Irish pub food and easy access to Symphony Hall. Friendly, prompt service. Slightly tight quareters for those with mobility issues.
Decent place but also the word 'pretentious' doesn't just apply to the college students but also the grown adults barking orders at the bartenders...

Good drink and good music, however the food needs a little more dedication. I ate a lamb burger that I ordered, finished medium and they delivered it to me. Super cooked!

If you go at the right time for the performance, you can enjoy a high-quality performance and the food is really good! The portion is quite large, so if you order one soup + main menu, you can share it between two people.

One of the most charming spots we’ve ever encountered in Boston. Live music (nearly all acoustic Irish) every day of the week.
