Excellent food with good service, noisy place not recommended if you are looking for peace and silence, very good experience. Public parking (you have to pay) approximately 200 meters away

A must visit for Boston tourists and locals alike. You're bound to enjoy upbeat live Irish music, friendly staff, and classic pub grub, but with an Irish flair. The food is okay - I like the clam chowder/soup options but otherwise i find the food is a bit pricey for what it is. However, the music and vibes are always enjoyable and keep me coming back (and bringing visitors!) again and again.

Visited Boston in early December. Ate mostly seafood until the Last Night and we went to the Black Rose Irish Pub. It was so fun. Everything was Great. The servers, music, and food were the Perfect way to end our stay in Boston!

On my first visit to Black Rose i got top notch service from Vinnie. He came to my table promptly and was so friendly and great service. Everyone provided great service - the food runners and other servers who walked by as well. I’ll be back and i will ask for Vinnie!

Visited Boston for work/vacay time. Cool place with very courteous service. Food was so-so at best. I ordered the corned beef eggrolls. Overcooked, dried out and tasteless. Wife’s shepherds pie was just ok and not served hot. Really expected better being Boston and an Irish town.

Best Irish bar in Boston! Fresh Guinness, great atmosphere and best is the music! Frank Ryan and Celtic Clan get the crowd going with singalongs and great Irish and traditional music.

Would have been 5 ⭐️ across the board but the door server/hostess made me feel like I shouldn’t have been there. I was an inconvenience and a waste of her time. The server was great a young man who was sweet and very attentive and as usual the Fish and Chips excellent! That hostess though wow… I almost left but I was starving and thinking about the F&C’s and a beer… sad that’s the first face and person you come in contact with walking in….
