$12 for a shot, $8 domestic beers, dive bar with hotel mini bar prices.
We're out of towners going to check out a Celtics' quarterfinal 2024 playoff game and we left 5 minutes after we got there.
1) The game was not played on the main TV
2) The place had no atmosphere with 0 customer on a Thursday night
3) We got robbed ordering 2 shots (1oz) of Jameson for 24$ loll
(I don't normally write reviews but the last point made me decide otherwise. A very sad experience )
Sorry, but this place is shark infested waters on your wallet right off the bat...$22 for a bottle of Guiness and a shot of Jameson. Far from the local joint it used to be.
Service here is top notch. Kudos to the bartender at lunchtime on 3/21/24. The best!

Good spot for a beer and a Jameson
This place holds a special place in my heart as one of the last true Southie bars. It was my version of Cheers. However, with the passing of Tony, a lot of things have changed. I ordered a shot and was stunned when one shot was a whopping $14. I miss the days of Butter behind the bar and cheap drinks. I’ll cherish the memories but it’s just not the same anymore.
Amazing staff and great local bar to watch the games
They in a great area for sports action, a new generation of fans, out with the old in with the new. Connection is still there business is good.
I wasn't a huge fan of this place. My drink was ok but they were not busy at all and the service was slow.

Enjoyed our experience when visiting. Linda was fantastic and a joy to have a conversation with. Lots of friendly regulars as well.
Opening for food! Great drinks and staff!
I love this bar!!
A pretty authentic townie experience! I used to stop by here periodically on my walk home from the T and I once saw two 60+ year old Irish men at the bar call each other out, walk outside, fistfight in the middle of the street, then they both came back in and resumed drinking. This is a true story!
Closed at 7:30pm on Thursday eve 11/4
