This was sincerely our favorite activity while in Boston. Bonnie expertly guided us through the meal, and her attention to detail enhanced the experience. They can accommodate a variety of diets; the vegetarian option was absolutely delicious, and clearly well curated. Entire tea service was charming.
Except only persecution
Such a beautiful and atmospheric place! Definitely would recommend if you’re visiting Boston like I was, the staff was very nice and the hostess Danielle was very welcoming and made me want to come again if I ever come back to Boston! The food was also amazing!
Amazing experience for me and my girlfriends anniversary!
We absolutely loved our experience at the Courtyard Tea Room! The location is simply stunning, and the food was absolutely delicious. Most importantly, the staff was incredible, professional, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be coming back
Nice food and decorations. Feeling strange that everyone there eating the same thing at the same time. Price is on a higher note for what it is. Tea is already pre-made when served, may not be suitable for individual own preference.
Amazing experience. Atmosphere was quiet bright and peaceful, food was delicious! Yea was fresh and smooth as well. Definitely a must try if you're ever in Boston
Great place but not enough seating
Every meal I have ever had here has been a delight. Always unusual things unusual taste combinations that go together so well. Great atmosphere and always incredible service this time. I got the dip and we had the ahi salad. Both were tremendous. I have never had a bad meal here.
Delicious, one of those “experience” types of things that you do for a special occasion. My daughter and I did the full tea and she had the kids tea tower and I had the adult. Our server Mike did a great job and we had a very nice time. And the darjeeling was excellent.

Not coming back unless someone exclusively wanted cocktails, which were phenomenal. Uh, finger foods are cute, just not $64 worth.

It was very high class experience and it was a first time for us to try the Dubai chocolate (why do we need salty chocolate once again?) and the tea was amazing but food alltogether... not honestly even a decent brunch. We had to go eat afterwards, I know that the point of places and experiences like this isn't to make you full, but still, we were hungry 10 minutes after leaving.
So my suggestion is that food portions become a bit bigger, and the pastry with the jam was really to die for but it was the only thing we got served that was really tasty and should've had it more if it was possible because they were tiny.
I had tea there yesterday with my husband. It was a nice experience however for the price ($72 per person and after tip $180) it was not worth it. The room looks like a hotel lobby, photos online look better that it does in person. The tea was good, but the server who poured it for us dripped it everywhere so it was quite messy. The food was hit or miss, we loved the scones and the pumpernickel/prosciutto bites but besides that everything else tasted store brought? Had a chemical aftertaste so we didn’t eat most of it. Looked pretty tho..
So adorable! Experience was great! Tea and food were good. The room was beautiful.
a really expensive tea room for what it is, nor is 1.5 hours enough time to enjoy having the food at tea time.
they don’t have a vegetarian menu but a vegan one and you can’t really mix and match. the vegan pastries aren’t tasty (unless u want date flavored crusts instead of shortbread). milk wasn’t provided with darjeeling tea either.
i will say, the scones are delicious and some of the sandwiches are good. some of the vegan sandwiches were literally spread on top of a piece of vegetable (radish/parsnip/sweet potato) which was.. interesting..
i enjoyed for a one time visit but it is not worth the $71+tip+tax.
