I had my first experience at the Daily Catch in 1983 at the location across from Jimmy's. I have been singing their praises ever since, and continue to make a point to eat there every time I visit the city. The menu from top to bottom is fantastic! You can't go wrong with whatever you order. I have brought so many friends over the years raving about the monkfish Marsala and now they are hooked as well. They are one of the few restaurants that use genuine North Atlantic calamari. All these restaurants that advertise Point Judith squid do not realize the squid is being processed in China or India. But whether it be clams, mussels, calamari, or something else you can't go wrong. They also have some nice Italian wines if you so desire. I highly recommend you make this a must go to when you visit or live in the Boston area. Paul and Maria started it and the kids have picked up the ball and run with it! You won't be disappointed and will probably become a lifelong fan like myself.

Amazing, went here before for one of my birthdays and had to come back for another. Brought my family with me this time and they absolutely loved it. One of my favorite restaurants ever. They always have fresh seafood with incredible flavor. Price isn't the cheapest but, it's worth it. I will always come back!

Poor service. They did not give us a table even there were a lot of empty tables during that time. Also needed to wait 15 minutes to get a check. I’ve been to the same restaurant in different location multiple times since 2016. But this time I am very disappointed and will never ever come back again.

A lovely seafood spot near the Waterfront with delicious offerings - the octopus appetizer, gnocchi, and squid ink pasta with scallops were all enjoyable, though portions generally leaned on the smaller side. The space is cozy but also tightly packed, which can get a bit noisy during dinner.

We had an incredibly disappointing experience at Daily Catch Waterfront, marked by poor service, discriminatory treatment, and shockingly rude behavior from both the staff and manager. Our dishes were mistakenly served to another table, and instead of remaking them, the staff appeared to bring the same plates back to us. When I raised my concerns, the male server rudely cut me off and dismissed my complaint.
The manager’s attitude was even worse—he was condescending, unapologetic, and outright dismissive of our concerns. He refused to acknowledge the mistake, accused us of trying to take advantage of the situation, and responded with hostility when we asked for clarification. This lack of professionalism and respect was unacceptable.
The entire experience left us feeling disrespected and deeply uncomfortable. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone who expects fair treatment and courteous service.
