I've been here at least ten times, and I've never been disappointed. It's always easy to get into, and the location is unbeatable.

I was so excited to finally try this new location of the Daily Catch. I grew up in Boston and have gone to he original many times over the years. It was always considered one of the best places for an authentic, fresh seafood meal, with a stellar reputation. Because of that, I really thought I'd love the reinvented Atlantic Ave. version. Unfortunately, it was a tremendous disappointment. It really kills me to say that. The ambiance was amazing, I'll give it that. Such a unique, warm, welcoming environment. We sat outside in October on a brisk night and the outdoor heaters did a fantastic job keeping us comfortable. The lights and decor were beautiful - a perfect spot for a romantic meal. But that's where the accolades end. The food was so bad. The pasta dish my wife ordered tasted like bitter burnt garlic, as did my clams appetizer. Not to mention the clams were sandy. I had to send them back and when they brought me a new order, they were just as bad. Like crunching in my teeth sandy - that bad. The broth was even dark and dirty looking. For a restaurant that has prided itself on simple seafood excellence, I was baffled by this oversight. Rinse and put your clams in a cornmeal bath to filter out the sand - this is fundamental, isn't it? Also, the waiter we started with didn't return after we complained (very politely, btw), which was so odd. The new waiter we got took the clams appetizer off the bill which was very appreciated, but the fact that the first one just ghosted us left a bad taste in our mouths. It maybe that was just the burnt garlic. Either way, I really wanted to love this place but can't recommend it.

It is a beautiful establishment that offers fine dining and love! From the waiters to the owner, They're amazing people!!! The food is delicious. The oysters are phenomenal and I've never had swordfish but it was breathtaking. And the cannolis with a light lemon and pistachio gave it a certain je ne sais quo! Beautiful Establishment! You won't be disappointed!!

We had dinner here while on vacation. We ate on the patio, we couldn't have asked for better atmosphere! Great service, and outstanding weather. We started with the Oysters Rockefeller, they were very flavorful, a great choice on our part! I ordered the Scallops with tomato sauce. It was very flavorful, however, it was prepared with a tad more olive oil than I prefer. I've included a photo for reference. My wife ordered the black pasta, as she had never had squid ink pasta before. She enjoyed the pasta.

Nothing special about this restaurant but the waterfront location which is nice.
When it gets to the food, it is average. No thrill.
I had taken pasta alle vongole in a white sauce. Big clams when compared to those you would find in the same dish in Italy.
It was tasty.

ENJOYED an amazing stop for lunch after a bike tour with Urban Adventours. We ordered the lobster for 2 and it had all the best seafoods on top of a bed of spaghetti. It was the BEST!! Highly recommend!!

Must go if ur visiting boston
Initially stopped by here during a food tour and has a cocktail and clams casino. Both were very good, staff was welcoming, and we got a good feel from it during that short visit.
That encouraged us to stop by for lunch a few days later as we were heading out of town. For me, the chickpea salad and a small side of the squid-ink pasta was a perfect lunch and the perfect amount. The chickpea salad had a very good blend of flavors, all complementing each other and none overpowering.
The squid-ink pasta with the recommended white sauce was very good as well with the appropriate hint of sea salt coming through.
Overall, both visits were attended to by wait staff that knew their business and the menu well. The recommendations were spot on.
