Popped in randomly last night because this seemed to be the only place in Allston with a parking spot nearby.. I was a little skeptical at first because no one seemed to have any food on their tables, just drinks. The place wasn’t very wheelchair accessible as there’s a step to get in, was a little dark and a little loud, but that’s my kind of vibe. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap & my buddies ordered the House Burger & a cup of chili. I was so surprised with how fresh & quality everything tasted, especially the french fries & chili.. I would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area.

Solid experience. Bar w decent # of taps. Locals frequent. Staff was nice.
Only been here once and have no complaints. Awesome place. The place is a little small though so if you get claustrophobic easily, it might not be the place for you.

It has a good vibe but the service is terrible. I got to the bar on a Thursday night with very few people inside. It took 15 minutes for the bartenders to realize we wanted to buy a drink and spend money. Meanwhile there was only 3 other people around the bar. All the employees were on there phones and chatting with each other instead of doing there jobs and helping customers.

If you’re Asian you do not belong here. There was not one Asian on Saturday night which is totally cool but the fact that both bartenders ignored my requests for a drink and served 5 people that came up within the 20 minutes I sat at the bar with my hand up speaks volumes. Will never be coming back

Referencing other reviews, it truly does smell like a toilet on the inside. This is a dive by all means; rough (men’s) bathroom, (smelly) dark atmosphere; the works. I can’t say for certain if this is a certain cleanliness thing, but it’s some factor of cleanliness that they’re lacking in, whether it be cleaning surfaces with dirty rags, not cleaning drink wells, rancid over-poured beer, etc… I don’t know anything about how to run a bar, but if this place were 20% cleaner, it’d get 4 stars. Best of luck to the owner, I’m sure this place had some staying power in Allston/Brighton ?
