The place looks nice, but that’s about it. The bartenders were so unfriendly — couldn’t tell if they hate their job, hate people, or just think they’re too cool to be nice. The music was way too loud, you can’t even talk — it’s a bar, not a club. Ordering drinks felt uncomfortable. Total waste of money — we ended up leaving to find somewhere with nicer staff.
It’s hard to give a proper review of this place. It’s a dive. Cheap beers, greasy foods, bad bathrooms. You walk in and immediately are hit with the smell of mold and urine. It’s not pleasant, and seems to be radiating from the men’s bathroom. There was a dead fly pasted on the wall of the bathroom the last time I was in. I refuse to eat food from here for obvious reasons. I worry how often they clean their draft lines as well, but I do enjoy coming despite all of this,...
Popped in randomly last night because this seemed to be the only place in Allston with a parking spot nearby.. I was a little skeptical at first because no one seemed to have any food on their tables, just drinks. The place wasn’t very wheelchair accessible as there’s a step to get in, was a little dark and a little loud, but that’s my kind of vibe.
