We are staying at the Omni Parker House so Dubliners was a short walk. First, portions are large and if you have a small appetite, consider sharing. We ordered cocktails - me an espresso martini and my husband a pretty standard Old Fashioned and they were lovely. For an appetizer, we got the haddock fish fingers with the spicy mayo. I should have gotten clued in to the portion size from this, as I was expecting small fish-stick sized breaded and fried haddock, but these were much healthier sized, almost like a fish cutlet. However, they were slightly over cooked and the mayo didn't last long. Still very tasty. The mains were Irish comfort food for sure. The shepherds pie for my husband and I got the beef and Guinness pastry which was mostly a delicious stew in puff pastry with cooked carrots and mashed potatoes. I was surprised that my husband finished his pie but he proclaimed it was the best he'd ever had. I made it through about two-thirds of my plate. It was wonderful but I had that cocktail, appetizer and I wanted to try a dessert. My husband was convinced to try the Irish soft serve ice cream, in a bowl, and I got the apple crumble with cream. Again, either could have been shared, and I ate about half of mine. Which was sad, as I wanted to finish it, but definitely just couldn't. We would absolutely go here again, maybe just sitting at the bar which we enjoy doing.
The fish and chips were over cooked and the Chicken and Leek pie was salt and lacking gravy.
We're visiting in Boston and lucked this spot out and it was really good! Live music was a nice addition :) Good drinks and good food! Hearty and comforting for a cold evening đ€ Love the atmosphere with all the pub signs :)
Nice experience, good service, excellent food. I can recommend anyone to have dinner here.
Had a great meal and service was excellent. Only thing that was not great was the guys YELLING at the bar - so drunk and just yelling very loud. Understand football is on but no one needs to be YELLING in a bar / restaurant.
The Dubilner was everything I wanted to experience! Delicious and a great overall experience!!
Overall, it was loud, we felt rushed and the food was just mediocre. When we arrived we were informed there was a 90 minute table limit which was fine but it set the stage for the service. Our waiter arrived with a water pitcher and two glasses, one had a large chunk of glass missing. How could she have missed that? We ordered and our salads AND our full meal arrived at the same time. Apparently they were helping to be sure we stayed under the 90 minutes!! The ceaser salad was very over dressed and almost inedible. Our food grew cold by the time we were ready to eat it. The waitress tried to fix the problem but it was really too late by the time she came back by. My expectations were set to high by the google rating. We should have picked one of the 3.7 restaurants!
Great food, brilliant atmosphere, lovely bar and food was great. We had the Beef and Guiness Pie/Chicken and Leek Pie followed by Apple Crumble/Sticky Toffee pudding which were all delicious
Thereâs no better place to hang out for a drink in our Nationâs Capitol than The Dubliner. Before we get to the food and the atmosphere their Whiskey List deserves a special shout out. Divided up by Irish Whiskey style/category the list is like mini lesson in Irish Whiskey history. And do they have a great selection? YES Blended, Single Malt, Single Grain, and Single Pot Still - they have it all, and in a beautifully bound list. The Guinness is a very good pint here - 4/5 - with some grip of the head to the glass as it slides down the glass. I had Shepherds Pie for dinner and it was nicely charred on top with a well balanced gravy from first bite to last. Get in here! SlĂĄinte
Was greeted by a friendly staff and seated at a table immediately.

Deserts were delightful .

This place may have changed over the years but still not worth going to. The typical Irish pub in Boston, nothing new here. Their menu lacks vegan items & what they do have isn't worth it, such a shame. The service is all over the place too, not very good. Better places to check out than this one.

We ordered the Fish & Chips, some oysters, and the Shepherdâs Pie. The potato chips accompanying the fish were huge, yet delicious. The oysters we ordered came out to be quite small, but they were fresh and good in taste. The highlight among our ordered dishes was the Shepherdâs Pie. Great experience!

The food was good with large portions. The Scotties were served without mustard, which was a first for us. The air conditioning was heavenly, almost as good as their drinks!

Just had a great experience at The Dubliners in Boston â the Guinness was perfectly poured and smooth, just like in Ireland, and the shepherdâs pie was hearty and full of flavour, taking me right back to my time there. Our server, Aoife, was fantastic â warm, attentive, and added to the cosy, welcoming atmosphere.

I've been to this restaurant twice all this Boston and both times the food was superb. I got the fish and chips which is exceptional, and the garlic crab starter is great too. The portions are generous, the vibe is exactly what you would hope for an Irish bar yet peaceful enough in certain areas inside and outside that you can have a good conversation. All the servers I've had to have all been wonderful as well. cocktails were good too, and they can turn almost anyone into a nice mocktail. No wonder Ed Sheeran chose to perform here! Would definitely return!
