It took forever for the server to show up, he asked us our drinks then walked away, came back 20 minutes later and said he forgot what drinks we wanted to order and by that time other tables had sat and they already ordered and got their food before the server would take care of us so we hadn’t even ordered yet, then when the food finally came out it was wrong and we had to send it back

It was a Valentine evening dinner. A typical IrIsh Pub atmosphere with great music.
We had the Pork Chops with mashed potato and Vodka Martini. The quantity of the chops is enough for sharing between two people.
Well cooked meat, it melts in your mouth.
We also tasted their Sam Adam's draft Beer
Pierce was a kind host who suggested good draft beers and made our visit a pleasant one..
Wheelchair accessibility: It's wheel chair accessible

The dubliner is the best place in town to get a Guinness and listen to live music anytime they are open.

Not my scene but was objectively great. Great pour of Guinness and the food was really delicious overall. Flavorful dishes and respectable portion sizes.

In the past I have loved The Dubliner, so I made a big birthday reservation to eat here over the weekend. Food and drinks are great, service was excellent!
But unfortunately, due to a terrible experience with the bouncers, I don't think I'll ever come back. Almost 2 hours into our stay (reservation was at 8:00, this was at 9:50) two of my friends stepped outside to smoke. 10 minutes later, I went out to join them, and when I went to go back inside, the bouncers would not let my friends back in. They called me a liar, and told me my friends had been lingering outside since before 9 (just not true, as we were all eating at that time). The other bouncer, told me he never saw us come in (it was an entirely different bouncer that checked our IDs at 8:00). After they had yelled at my girlfriend, interrogated my friends about what they ordered, a nice member of the wait staff came to bring us all back inside. Just an absolutely toxic experience fueled by toxic and brutally unaware bouncers. What a ridiculous end to what was a good experience, during which we spent a lot of money eating and drinking there.

Amazing curry! Dubliner fried chicken is the perfect texture and crispness. Best Irish pub fare in town.

Oh my god the lamb shank is one of the best things I've ever tasted!
And the best pint of Guinness in Boston!

Beautiful space. Drinks were good. Barley arancini, scotch egg were delicious starters. Fish and chips and Shepard pie were enjoyed. The star was the lobster salad on brown bread. Lots of meat, priced fairly in my opinion. Delicious food and friendly service. Luke was our server and he was wonderful.
Update: came yesterday for lunch. We got toasties w soup which was potato and delicious. Scotch egg was good as always but on the cool side. Fish bites loved. Great pot of tea and well poured drinks.
New update: while most of our food was good (better than mcgonagles their sister establishment). I got braised short ribs that were very good. Family liked their fish and chips. I was disappointed with the barley bites. They're like an arancini. We got an order and they were filled with corn (which myself and my brother cannot eat). I checked the menu again (in case it had changed) and corn wasn't listed. Just annoying/sloppy/waste for us. If they're made with corn now please update the menu. Lots of people don't eat corn and i have found it an issue at other places too (but not as nice as The Dubliner).
