Loved every thing from the waitstaff, roleaux for apps, dinner, drinks were creative. Chocolate cake was lovely.. one of Bostons best restaurants!
Service was excellent Drinks best ever Vegan choices excellent Dessert healthy vegan All of these hard to find in Boston and surrounding area
Wonderful restaurant. Attentive, experienced server, delicious food and lovely atmosphere with a beautiful view of the Cathedral right outside the window. We enjoyed the large wine and beer selection. The non-alcoholic drink offerings were also substantial and creative; the raspberry shrub spritzer I tried was thirst quenching and delicious. My husband and I split the tuna spring roll and each had a different fish dish. He had the shrimp and I had the trout. Both were prepared with Cambodian spices that complimented the protein well. Elephant Walk also had many meat and some vegetarian offerings in the Cambodian and the French style. This was our first time at the restaurant. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
Most lovely restaurant. Our service was great prompt and super courtesy. Great cozy atmosphere and great people!
Great place. Our waiter was very friendly and funny. The drinks are excellent there, even the non alcoholic ones
The service and atmosphere were great. A little slow at first but it got better. The food was just ok. We thought it could have used more flavor. The drinks were strong, but again lacked flavor. I would most certainly go back and try another dish. Maybe it was just what we got that wasn’t good. The experience wasn’t terrible, but we’ve had much better for cheaper.

Very friendly staff. Very cute ambience perfect for a date night. Most importantly delicious food with good portions. Highly recommend. I will definitely be coming back!
Chilled Avocado Citrus Soup- like an elevated sweet and sour soup. orange juice adds a nice sweetness and a light tartness and the lime juice adds a nice zing. Very refreshing. The hearty amount of avocado adds a nice texture. I added a little hot sauce they provide which gave it a little heart and worked very well. 4/5
Porc Diplomat- generous portion of perfectly cooked and tender pork marinated in soy. Covered in a hearty sauce of coconut milk, black pepper, and garlic. The coconut as a nice creaminess and sweetness, where the pepper and garlic added a good savoriness. The rice seemed to have some lemon grass in it and added a nice flavor. The bok choy has an amazing soy and ginger dressing. So delicious. 5/5
Le Péché au Chocolat- dense decadent chocolate cake. Very taste. Added a scoop of pistachio ice cream which was also good. 5/5

We have been enjoying Elephant Walk since it was located in Cambridge a couple of decades ago. Now it has moved into Boston, without losing a step. Since we're rarely in the area, we made it a point to go back (first time at this location) fearful that time and the change of scene might have negatively affected the food or ambiance or both. Not so! The food was absolutely delicious, first rate service accompanied it and the place is quite beautiful. It's a great success story and we hope to go back the next time we can. The dishes are both authentic and inventive, sometimes at the same time. Outstanding raw tuna spring rolls, great soups, a delightful dish of crispy catfish in a great sauce. Bravo.
Food was so yummy! Everything was super well done and had great flavor. Would definitely come back!

A quiet place with delicious and varied foods. The fact that they put the game on the TV at the bar is a nice upside for a place with such high quality cuisine. I especially recommend their spring rolls(rouleax de thon cru aux epices) and the fried rice sticks appetizer (nataing).

Food seems overrated based on other reviews. It was OK but there was no dish that blew me away. I also was expecting the menu to have more fusion dishes as opposed to having separate French and Cambodian dishes. The vibe and service at the restaurant were amazing though. We got the Rouleaux De Thon Cru Aux Epices Khmères, Kapik Khing, Polenta Et Canard Braisé Aux Champignons, Dumplings Croustillants Au Porc Epicé, Porc Aux Piments Doux Shishito, and Boeuf Bourguignon. The best dish we had was the tuna Rouleaux, but the sauce with it was a very strong lime flavor. We thought the Rouleaux paired very well with the dumpling sauce though.

The food was mostly flavorless. I thought Cambodian food... so flavor! Salty, pungent, sweet, sour, crunchy, soft, crispy, spicy -- It was nothing of the sort. Where's the lemongrass, the fish sauce, the fermented shrimp paste, the kaffir lime leaves, the garlic, the ginger, the chilis? I wouldn't even call the food French. The food certainly caters to the palate of affluent South End residents and visitors, let's just say THAT.
Service was fine. I noticed there were only three servers, one of whom was also on bar duty -- that's tough! Our server was hustling trying to tend to all the dinner guests. You go, dude!
Atmosphere was quite nice. Great vibes for a date night! If you can see past the price and lack of Cambodian culinary oomf.

I'm from Louisiana and have been going to the Elephant Walk and Carambola in Waltham (closed now) for over 20 years. The flavors of this food is unbelievable and always consistently great! The Salade Cambodienne is delicate and always delicious as well as the grilled pork and bao maoun soup. Every time I visit Boston I try to get here- and the service from Wayne is always like I'm family! If you have a chance to try this healthy fresh tasty and delicious food - make a reservation and get there soon!
