Nicole was awesome! Such great high energy vibes and very attentive. The food was great also. Finding a vegan friendly breakfast spot when on Holiday is not an easy task for me! Thank you for a great experience!

We found this retro little restaurant when visiting Boston. Staying at the Hilton, it’s a very short walk, well worth it. No reservations are required, the staff is great, Young fellow with the wool cap…thank you, Nate l think, we ate there 3 times, food was exceptional and very reasonably priced, 2 for breakfast about $35. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

I went in September, but I'm just now getting around to write this review!

First off, shout out to Vanel, my server! He was friendly, attentive, and just overall a positive vibe to have for brunch! I sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful sun on a semi-chilly day.

Food ordered: mimosa flight, blueberry pancake, breakfast eggrolls, an 'appley every after mimosa, and one other drink but I don't recall. ALL were delicious and I recommend each of them.

A great brunch place I'd love to return to!

Great breakfast/brunch spot. We are visiting Boston for the week and this is the first place we went off a friends recommendation. Staff was so nice, waited maybe 2 mins, food was phenomenal.

There are multiple locations and always a wait time, best way is to add your name to the waitlist 15-20 mins ahead of your arrival. It can be done on yelp or restaurant website. Server was very pleasant, checked back on us couple of times and refilled coffees. Food was good for the price, pretty generous food portions.

Nate was wonderful and super attentive, sharing what is new and popular on the menu. I had a maple bourbon cold brew coffee, breakfast taquitos and a side of bacon. You MUST try their made in house Maple Tumeric sauce, it’s not spicy hot but the right balance of spice and sweetness and perfect to drizzle on eggs and bacon for some kick. Also had the Arnold Pama as I had time to kill and a 2nd beverage never hurts when walking a beautiful city.
The ambiance is like being in a time capsule of the best memories, Goonies poster on the wall, retro sparkly diner booths and chairs, community mental health wall posts to boost your spirits.
The bartender/server was upbeat and took care of each person.
This location has an “A” rating and is clean, easy to access and the front doormen are personalable.

Loved The Friendly Toast! The place has such a fun, colorful vibe and the food was delicious — especially the pancakes and breakfast sandwiches. The staff were super friendly and the portions are huge. It can get busy on weekends, but totally worth the wait!

OK but I don't understand why this place is so popular. Came here on a Saturday morning around 8 AM and found it to be already packed. The waitress was very friendly and the food average. We waited quite a bit of time before we got our food. They were very efficient seating everyone and when we left, there were people waiting outside to be seated. I have to rate low on the funky smell in the bar area downstairs; it smelled halfway between cleaning solution and grease. It's like they tried to clean by just throwing on cleaning solution without scrubbing and rinsing with water. The smell definitely impinged on my enjoyment.

My name is Ari and I’m nine years old. We had a waiter with a pony tail and he was amazing. Food was great I normally don’t like pancakes but the banana pancakes were amazing. Definitely go again bye.

Service was excellent. My server Oscar, was great and took good care of me. My omelet was superb and the coffee got me moving for the day. You are always appreciated.
