December 2024 UPDATE: My review up top was from September 2024. I recently made sure that when I was in boston to stop by here again as I had a great time last time AND LOVED THE VIBE. HOWEVER this time, it was a Sunday and went with a friend. After getting there we were seated our waiter (guy with a mini afro) took our drink order was fairly quick. when he came back to take our food order i asked for the pizza WITH PEPPERS and ONIONS. He repeated it and i nodded. When the food finally came out (not brought by our waiter) it was a pizza with JUST PEPPERONIS (I'm vegetarian) the pizza was also missing the other ingredients that were on the menu (basil, etc) I politely moved the pizza to the edge of the table visibly while my friend ate her meal. we couldnt find the waiter to get his attention that the meal was messed up. almost 30 mins go by my friend has finished her meal and the pizza STILL on the edge of the table cold. Not once did the waiter come back by to see "if everything was ok" since the kitchen delivered our food. When he FINALLY came by almost 40 mins after us just sitting there I told him i only asked for the pizza plus peppers and onions. The waiter got very silent and almost caught an attitude and yanked the pizza off the table. IF he had come by to check on us once we got our food or just simply glance over in the 40mins that the pizza was just sitting there he would've known. Disappointed as I went out my way to come back to this bar from the great nostalgia i first had.

Bartenders are top-notch, and food is pretty good. Try the warm spinach salad. So good! Great place to catch a game. It has a cozy vibe.

A group of friends went to this bar on Saturday to watch football. After communicating with the bar for several weeks leading up to the event and being informed they would play the game of interest with sound, when we got there they did a complete 180. The bartender who took charge refused to put on the sound. The service was absolutely terrible. The bartender said well over 10 times “I didn’t know you guys were coming in” as if the internal poor communication was our fault and made the poor service acceptable. They had one server and one bartender for the entire full restaurant. After waiting over 40 mins for beer ans for food (that never came) we moved the entire group to another bar. This morning we got a message stating that they no longer would be supporting alumni groups “because we had have over 30 people and they couldn’t support”. We actually had 12 but they didn’t realize that because they never came over to the table! Terrible service

A local tavern in Beacon Hill with very good food and reasonable prices.
9/12, Stopped in while on a trip from Detroit & like the place so much we came back the next night. Great atmosphere, decent food, cool bartender (Good luck with your wedding, dude!), interesting people, and as a bonus - attractive waitresses, a must for any decent bar.
Thanks for the fun time guys and girls. On our next trip we will definately be back!

Kicked us out before we even got to order. Because one friend left her drink outside, from a previous bar. She was completely fine and we just sat down. But they kicked us out loudly in front of the whole bar, unprofessional and weird to be completely honest. Weird bar, do not recommend unless you enjoy racism.
