Scotty was great! Fun vibes and welcoming atmosphere … and they decorate. The only thing that could elevate the experience is Karaoke!

Dive bar at best. Go here for the drinks, not the food. Steaksandwich was MID and I would have enjoyed the pretzel if it came with mustard.

A great place for a quick pint! And them go next door to the arcade!. Food is just bar food and nothing too creative. Generally, it's a fun and nice bar. You can definitely pick out the locals here. It feels a bit like any bar from your home town.

Scott E is the best. He is all by himself behind the bar.

We specifically came to this bar to play pool, having heard good things about it. Unfortunately, we weren’t even allowed in — we were denied entry because we didn’t have our passports, even though we showed a valid French national ID card.
The staff was surprisingly rigid, with no willingness to listen or show any understanding of our situation as international visitors. No effort, no welcome — just a blunt and unfriendly refusal.
This kind of entry policy, enforced without any flexibility, is frustrating and doesn’t reflect the kind of hospitality you’d expect from a place that markets itself as social and friendly. Especially disappointing in a city like Boston, known for its openness.
I absolutely do not recommend this place. We were denied entry because we didn’t have our passport with us, even though I presented an official French national ID card, which is a valid government-issued identification document.
The staff was inflexible, dismissive, and clearly unaware of legal rules regarding international IDs. At no point were we treated with respect or understanding.
This is not only discriminatory, but illegal, as many jurisdictions accept foreign government-issued ID, especially for international travelers.
Boston is known for being a welcoming and open city — this bar does not reflect that spirit. Disappointing.
