Can't complain about how cool this place is ! Located in the Omni Parker House, this IS the best place to finish the night. I do enjoy a good cocktail or two. I also enjoyed a Boston Cream pie. The OG. A nice place to grab a drink. Just make sure youre ready for the prices lol

Swanky little pub, great custom made drinks. A lot of scotch and whiskey options. Pricey, but worth it with the hotel attached.

I find it ironic and amusing that a woman named Brandy reviewed this whiskey bar. It's a lovely bar in a beautiful historic hotel, but I wanted a brandy and all they had was Hennessy. They have what seems to be a hundred different choices of whiskey, but just one cognac. The waitress knew her stuff, there was no insulting hidden upcharge, the big street facing windows and old fashioned leather and brass tavern ambiance make this a very hospitable place for a nightcap with friends. It's also the kind of bar where you could comfortably have a drink by yourself and no one would bother you. Not to mention this is the hotel where the Boston Cream Pie was invented. By the way, it's not really a pie, it's a rich cake. I had one and got diabetes. It was worth it, but I like to have sweet dessert with an Armagnac or a Calvados, or a Cognac or some drink in that genre.

Fantastic cocktail bar in historic setting. The bartenders know their craft. The Ruben sliders served with house made chips...wow. Great elevated atmosphere without any pretension. On freaking point without trying too hard. Comfortable and great.

Dropped in for a drink before our meal, as it was connected to our hotel. Drinks were really delicious, Emma was friendly, courteous & also helped us with local recommendations for the morning. Thanks from the CT crew!

Located in the historic Omni Parker House hotel, the Last Hurrah is an upscale whiskey bar that has an unmistakable inviting glow when you pass by it and its massive glass-paned windows facing the street. During a recent stay at the Omni Parker House, the original home of the Boston Cream Pie, I knew my visit wouldn't be complete without giving the local confectionary delight a try during my stay. During the weekend, the Last Hurrah was PACKED from the time it opened until the time it closed. I opted to visit on a Monday evening shortly before Christmas and found it to be a much smaller crowd. (I was able to actually get a table and/or seat at the bar the third time I tried) Service was great. I opted to have the Chicken Parmesan sandwich for my entree, which came with a side of house chips and a pickle. The sandwich was good - nothing to write home about as a trip highlight but if you're hungry it'll get the job done. For dessert, I of course went with the Boston Cream Pie and accompanying Boston Cream Pie martini. I gotta say - I agree with many of the other commenters that although the dessert may have gotten it start here, it definitely wasn't the best I've ever had. BUT that martini was what dessert cocktail dreams are made of. I loved the ambiance of the bar and would definitely be back to enjoy a cocktail or two at the beautiful wood bar. Fun Fact - I was told by a local tour guide that this bar was one of the stops where JFK and pals celebrated during his Bachelor Party - hence the name Last Hurrah.

I stayed at the Omni Parker House during a convention in November. I was given free drink tickets to Last Hurrah. The service was great! I paid for a couple of drinks and I thought the prices were very reasonable. If you want to try the famous Boston Cream Pie - you can get one to go at the bar. That's much easier than eating in the full service restaurant. My only complaint is that the bar seats are small and make a snug seat for those with fat bottoms.

Friendly service, excellent beer, and relaxing atmosphere. The Boston cream pies are a delicious delicacy that I highly recommend. This lovely little spot served as a perfect dessert and cap to our night.

Don't get me wrong, nice looking place but the service was terrible and who runs out of lobster rolls at 7pm?

She was beautiful, friendly, and one of the best multi-tasking bartenders I've ever had the pleasure of watching as she worked the LH bar this New Year's Eve. Emma, thank you for making our evening special!!

We were treated terribly here. Two of us walked in and we were told they were full. There was lots of room. They did seat the couple behind us though (who had no reservation we found out after talking to the manager). I would advise avoiding this place.

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, lower your expectations for food, especially the cream pie.

Such a cool place with rich history. Drinks were good and the ambiance was perfect. We decided to go our last day in Boston to close out a great weekend. The service was outstanding and our waiter gave excellent recommendations.
