Amazing, memorable meal. Wonderful server. Atmosphere is gorgeous. Octopus carpaccio, stuffed lobster, 10 oz filet, kid's grilled cheese, Ceasar salad & stunning baked Alaska. Whole family was happy!
Excellent food, delicious and well presented. Outstanding service from Frank. Will definitely go again.
Pretty dining room with outstanding menu of fresh fish, lobster and steaks. Good service. Maybe a little slow. Dining room half full at 8pm on Saturday. Hmmm.
Service was fine. My partners liked their steak I had the stuffed haddock and was expecting something with a better piece of fish being downtown Boston and all.
Beautiful place and ambiance. Food and drinks were excellent! Get the crab cakes for a starter! Best I've ever had! Ceasar salad was awesome too!
Pretty dining room with good mix on the menu (lobster, fish, steak). Service was friendly but slow. Nice baked Alaska for our anniversary
Super!!!! That is the only way I can describe the meal we had at Oceanaire. Fortunately, Big Louie was our server and he is awesome. We have dined here before and always ask for Big Louie to help us have an outstanding experience and he always delivers! The beet and goat cheese salad is huge and delicious. I had the line caught Copper River Salmon and it was a treat. Linda had Branzino and it was superb.
Salmon was incredibly fresh and the clam chowder was so flavorful
Food was good. But service was extremely slow. Waited almost an hour for entrees. Restaurant was not very busy. Kitchen slow to put out food and took forever to even get bread service.
As always, it was a perfect evening at the Oceanaire. The staff is amazing, and everything on the menu is very very good. It's a perfect place to experience the best of New England's seafood. Enjoy!

The service is here is terribly SLOW! The food and atmosphere is great. It’s hardly ever any other patrons besides myself and 4 others every time I come but the service is the SLOWEST and I can’t seem to figure out why yet. I have to find a new lunch spot. Waiting rakes half my time and I only ordered a salad.
I am so glad I found this place! I saw their menu on line and photos of the food including the crab cake...it's true Maryland style crab cake with little filler and huge chunks of sweet blue crab. Keep in mind they are an appetizer. If you like crab you need this in your life. The first night I stopped by I ordered one and went back the next night and had two. I sat at the bar and the bartender Kevin was great, very attentive and made me an incredible chocolate raspberry martini. They have a wonderful seafood menu including a raw bar but also offer steak and chicken. There is a good wine selection and dessert options including baked alaska which is a rare find. I had the lemon blueberry cheesecake after being told its seasonal...it was amazing and made in house! This is definitely the top seafood place on my list in Boston. I'm not sure if there is a dress code but it has an upscale atmosphere. I look forward to going back!
Very slow service to the point I had to ask the hostess to bring the check. Food was; at beet, mediocre.
My family and I had an amazing time at Oceanaire. Our server Irving was absolutely amazing! The food was immaculate and the atmosphere made the experience that much more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back.
It was amazing. We were celebrating me getting a new job, and they went above and beyond with printing my name on a menu, a complimentary dessert, and a card signed by the staff members. Truly a memorable experience.
