We had a Sunday lunch as a family group of 7. We needed some love as we just left another nearby establishment after having a real bad experience with the brunch. We were "hangry".... The Palm delivered what we needed. Service was great, cocktails solid and food was very good with an exception of a seafood dish that was a bit too salty and needed a re-do. The manger Corey in an awesome jacket took an excellent care of the situation as well as our bill! And the awesome birthday carrot cake was on the house! Got job, guys! Will come again.

Five star service from Stephanie. Came in for Easter lunch with friends and family with five kids. Food was great but the service was even better! The entire family had an amazing time!

Not really sure where to start here. My wife and I decided to splurge a little bit for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We made reservations online and added that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. After we were seated we were almost immediately greeted by the general manager and congratulated which was super thoughtful. For the life of me I can't remember our servers name but he was amazing and explained some of the best dishes and options and was super attentive and kind. We ended up with the palm meatball as an appetizer which was absolutely phenomenal. For our meals we both got the filet mignon medium rare and I can honestly say it was the best filet I've ever eaten. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely melted in my mouth. As a side we shared the smokey bacon provolone mac and cheese which was also amazing. Overall we had a wonderful experience and the food and service was top notch. Next time we're in the Boston area we will absolutely be back. Highly recommended.

The beautiful Palm restaurant at 1 International Place in Boston is a lovely oasis from the bustle outside. That being said, I was a solo older professional female arriving for a light meal after the lunch rush. The restaurant was open, the staff was cleaning up after the lunch rush. I was offered a poor table next to the water and bus stand though the rest of the restaurant was empty. I said no and selected a nicer table elsewhere. The waiter was wonderful, but my food was difficult. The Cesar salad was limp and warm. The dressing had no garlic flavor or lemon bite. Just unseasoned creamy. I sent it back. I ordered "lightly breaded Calamari". It came properly cooked golden brown, but the breading was heavy, the plate of peppers was oily and the marinara again had very little flavor. As a chef I find that sad - so easy to make flavor. I ordered asparagus as a replacement for my warm salad. The very fat spears had not been selected, cooked or trimmed properly, so that the bottoms were shrunken, the stalks over cooked and the heads were non-existent on several stalks. I requested steamed. No dressing or butter was offered. All in all a disappointing experience in a lovely environment in a premium location. Perhaps I'll try again another time I am doing business in the building. It might have been an off day.

We've been here a couple times and it's been a Boston tradition at this point. We always sit at the bar and was always so enthralled with the caricatures that was painted in the walls. They're the regulars that have earned a spot in the wall. We sat down and I ordered an Italian 75 from their cocktail menu. I was really impressed with the drink list as well as this cocktail. Fantastic take on the French 75! We were only here for a short while so we ordered shrimp cocktail and some oysters. Both were delicious and tasted very fresh. We sat a bit at the bar and then planned out the rest of our day. Great place!

Atmosphere is the only thing I could say went well from this experience. Arrived 8 minutes late to find that our reserved table was given away (with no call or notice). We sat in the bar area and waited 30 minutes for our first drink. Tried the calamari app, it was tough and chewy to the point of being inedible. Got the bolognese as a main, the sauce was extremely watery (both in texture and flavor). My spouse got the king salmon, which looked and tasted like it had been boiled in a bag. Tried the truffle risotto side, which ended up being mostly huge chunks of mushroom with very little risotto. The total meal for 2 people came to $200, which felt way too pricey for the quality of food.

Excellent steaks and perfect service. A wonderful, traditional Palm experience, per usual. A great place for a meal for a group.

We both ordered fish and they were both severely over cooked. Soup appetizer was flavorful, but over salted and small in size. Gin and tonic was sent back due to being not drinkable. Our server was super sweet and very good, and automatically removed the offending products from our bill without us asking - which was very professional. I think a focus on food and drink quality is very needed.

I went there yesterday for valentines day and the service was terrible. We sat for 25 min and a server never came to table to offer water. A table behind us sat immediately and was serviced right away. We waited about 45 Minutes for our drinks. The food was nasty. I will never come here again!

If you love 30s-40s music and interior design then you’ll love this! Best steak my wife and I have ever had! Stephanie was our waitress and she was fabulous and friendly. If you get the hash browns on the “side” prepare for an extra meal!!

There is no variety of dishes. My fiance and I had different types of pasta for dinner and we were not satisfied. The flavors were ok but nothing special. The cocktails felt cheap. The price I paid +200 dollars for a dinner is not justified

Surprised by the lower reviews for this restaurant. The food was amazing, the service was impecable and the ambiance was classic Boston. I ordered a Wagyu filet with a lobster tail accompanied by creamed spinach, scalloped potatoes and fries. We had the indulgent sea food tower which was enough to share with 7 people. The food was so delicious and the steak so tender. I lost my beanie and the waiters went out of their way to find it. Would love to come back and visit.
