the banana caramel french toast was SUCH a treat. the sweet crunch of the granola was AMAZING, with a blend of buttery pistachios, almonds, raisins, cashews, pumpkin seeds. the bread was warm, soft, and fluffy with crispy edges and drizzled with gooey caramel sauce, with a hint of saltiness.
the pesto steak sandwich was also a favourite, with SUPER tender, hot steak with warm melted cheese, sandwiched between really fragrant, soft doughy bread. the pesto aioli was fresh and a great complement as well ! the fries on the side were nice and thin and crispy too !

The breakfast served was fresh, expertly prepared, and exceptionally palatable. The establishment is rather compact, offering limited and closely arranged seating. The service provided was satisfactory. We experienced no waiting period upon our arrival, however, a queue had formed outside the premises as we departed.

The parfait was awesome bacon was not bad but definitely batched in the morning and reheated for order I do wish they had better oj probably Tropicana but definitely not squeezed there whole foods has better oj I wish there was a standard of calling something fresh squeezed when it comes to that and it actually being fresh squeezed all in all would definitely recommend just probably not order the oj again

The only reason why I’m not leaving 1 star for service is that only the server at our table assigned to our table impacted the quality of our experience. Who assume to be the chef and the bartender were helpful.
I’m guessing there was an issue with us showing up near closing time, but I have worked this job—doubles for entire weeks at a time, and always made sure folks got the welcome they deserve for entering our establishment as I understand you never know what folks are walking in with. If we couldn’t give proper service, we would notify folks that we can unfortunately not take any more table.
We were just coming from the hospital where one of our loved ones was in crisis, and I definitely took that into account when picking a place I favored for both warmth and food.
The person who greeted us was somewhat welcoming, but the young lady in charge of our table was cold and it felt like we were bothering the space.
After placing our club soda order with limes, we were given lemons without checking if it was okay, nor did we get an apology for not getting what we ordered. I know from working the job that beyond due process, people can be allergic to lemons, which is why it is key to double check if they specifically asked for one and not the other. Only when I pointed it out—after placing our food order, were we told the bar was out of limes and got a verbal apology.
When we got our food (came in a timely manner, and food was good. Thanks for that), not once did our server come back to check on us. We finished our food and waited a solid 10 minutes before our server finally came to check on us, at which point we just got the check and left. I believe the person at the bar is who picked up our check after the card was put in booklet, and brought it back (with a smile, for which I am so grateful, whoever you are. This has been a hard week).
I don’t remember our server coming back to the table to see us out. I was so pissed I didn’t say a word on the way out.
Again, I have worked in the service industry with great pride and great respect for both the job, and the patrons. Always gave 110% even when working past closing time or under the weather. I am aware that it is difficult work, particularly during the holiday. I’ve worked Christmas, NYE and other major holiday. I am aware the end of shifts can be particularly long, but your guests shouldn’t be on the receiving end of that. We were also not the only table being sat at the time we showed up. (Around 3:20p)
This all happened with there being all of 4 active tops, two of which were tables who appeared to have already been serviced by the time we sat down for our meal.
I’ve never left less than 20% in tips anywhere, and that’s usually because I’m broke. I always tip between 22% & 30%, because I respect the labor. This was disappointing, especially because of the subtle ways in which the experience was made difficult. We weren’t a difficult table. A salad, a signature breakfast, some wine, an hot chocolate and club sodas.
Thanks again to the bartender and the kitchen staff for doing their part.

We went on a busy weekday night and the place was busy. The table are jammed together, making it quite a challenge to get to your seat and have room to sit in your chair. The menu has a lot of vegetarian choices and also has burgers and other pub type fare. We ordered the warm winter salad, and I could not find much shaved brussel sprouts in it, but lots of nuts. The Buddha bowl was just OK as well. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable for Beacon Hill.
terrible service the female manager is a racist! she made the visit to this restaurant horrible. treated black people like subhuman.
