Celebrated our anniversary here. We had a reservation and were able to sit at the bar as they got our table ready. Great food, our server Han was amazing. We got a chocolate cake with sparklers as his congratulations and he even did shots with us. Good vibes all around, everyone there was having a great time

Dragon roll was so yummy! The crab rangoons and spring rolls were crispy and delicious. We were s group of 7 and had a great seat towards the back of the restaurant.

Fantastic hot pot meal - great choices, so delicious! Wonderful service! Small glitch - restaurant had no record of our OpenTable booking, even after responding to multiple confirmation requests. Luckily, they had tables available so no problems. Recommend you call to check after booking to avoid issues.

I went with a group of omnivores, which was fine, because I could order a separate pot from them. I didn't want to eat out of the same pot because it would get cross contaminated so easily. I marked on the menu that I wanted a half pot of broth, because there's no way I could eat a full pot by myself. The waiter said they "couldn't" give me half a pot -- that I had to get two halves or a full pot.
This makes no sense. They serve half portions of broth all the time in the split pots. They could either half fill the regular pot or fill the other half of the split pot with water.
This place is not accommodating to people with dietary restrictions or allergies.
Food was OK though.

First time having hot pot- my daughter had been before so she showed us how & what to order. Food was fresh & delicious. Be careful of how high you have the heat level - I accidentally burnt my tongue pretty bad. That's on me though! Service was friendly & attentive.

The Q is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Boston. We have been going there for over eight years and every time we go it gets better and better and better. The food is fantastic from the hot pot to regular Chinese to sushi. it is always top-notch between the flavors amount of menu offerings and the amount of food per dish item for the value is great.  we love the staff and the great vibe of the restaurant. Going again tomorrow and I can't wait!!!!!! ❤️

I used to go here tons before my celiac diagnosis so I was nervous as to what to expect but the menu is labeled (yet don’t assume the items labeled GF that are friend are safe because they are not).

None of us have ever tried hot pot previously. Our server, Lu, was very patient with our questions and attentive to teaching us the process. The food was delicious.

We stopped in on a Friday night around 6 p.m. with no reservation and were lucky they were able to squeeze us in. Great little spot with a cool Asian-inspired vibe and a fun atmosphere.
We decided to try the hot pot for the first time—no idea what we were doing—but our server was amazing. She walked us through everything and made the whole experience easy (and honestly, a lot of fun). We went with one spicy broth and one non-spicy broth, and everything we cooked up was delicious.
We also ordered a sushi roll—the Red Sox roll(I think)—and it was fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made.
All in all, a great spot to try something different in Boston. If we’re back in town, we’ll definitely eat here again.
Absolutely perfect in every way. The Taste of the Ocean is a worthwhile indulgence. Everything was fresh and flavorful and exceeded expectations! Fantastic wait staff. I can't wait to go again!
