Live music tonight and a decent cup of cappuccino with soymilk. I did startle every time the barista banged the espresso grounds out, which usually happens when the person hits metal instead of rubber, so I didn’t stay long. Very jarring, but easily remedied, and otherwise a great atmosphere.

Expect to wait 20 minutes for a drink that will be bitter in a space where the music is blasting in your ear.

We came to the square root to hear jazz. The place holds jazz evenings
once every two weeks on Sundays. The place is cozy, well ventilated, good acoustics and most fun, ir serves good food. We ate great pizza with ham and bacon and a cinnamon roll with excellent coffee.
Highly recommended.
With the music - 5 stars!

Staff is incredibly unfriendly and rude. A sign said to ask about the iced tea selection- when I did it was meant with an eye roll while he shoved the sign closer to me (which said to ask) never wasting our time or money here again

I try to give this cafe a chance but they always disappoint. the vibe is nor welcoming and they're unapologetically slow. yesterday was better than today but the service is way too inconsistent.

Ok for starters the owner is SUPER rude. I was at a show with a friend and he was targeting them throughout the night despite not paying attention to anyone else (we were quiet and minding our own business.) Very hostile environment. The rest of the staff were very sweet though and did great despite what they were given. The music was amazing and I had a really good time at the show, but the prices are ridiculous; 5 dollars for a SINGLE tiny empanada is really funny.

I had a similar experience as another reviewer. I came in wanting to get work done and was approached by an employee/the manager(?) who demanded that I order something - saying something along the lines of “this isn’t a library,” and signaling me to leave. I tried to order some water but was met with the same taunt. Funny is that I might’ve ended up getting something, or visit and order more in the future, but the hostile environment makes me never want to return there again.

My friends and I chose this place to meet and plan for a film screening. I walked in, had just sat down to chat and my friends were sipping on drinks they bought. I was still catching up with them and hadn't ordered when a older man who I presumed was the owner came over and aggressively asked if I had ordered and bullied me into getting something for being in that space. I went up and ordered the cheapest item on the menu after that treatment. Interesting that there were many empty tables and I happened to be the only non-white person. Steer clear of this place!
