While the food wasn’t bad, the service was extremely disappointing and honestly felt discriminatory. We visited during a quiet time and were told there would be a 30-minute wait for a table. We waited patiently, but about five minutes later a more posh-looking couple walked in and the host immediately went to check for a table for them, despite having just told us that no tables were available for the next 30 minutes. The restaurant was visibly empty inside at the time.
It was only after the host noticed us watching that she seemed to realize we had been waiting much longer than anyone else. The whole interaction made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This was especially disappointing because we were well dressed, polite, and respectful throughout.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The service felt judgmental and unfair, and it completely overshadowed what could have been a decent experience. We won’t be returning.

Service was very slow but the waitress brought over champagne while we waited for our cocktails which was very nice. We split a burger and it was cooked perfectly.

Was excited to try this place but my wife and I left ultimately very disappointed. We had to wait for about 10 -15 minutes to be let in which we were fine with, but once inside the service was horrible. The bartender Tyler wouldn't even acknowledge you unless you were seated directly at the bar which only holds about 7 or 8 people. This on top of extremely overpriced drinks and little ambience (fireplace not on on a freezing cold Saturday night?) left us very frustrated. You'll have a far better experience at the Lenox hotel right around the corner.

Poor and frustrating service from host/hostess. Great cocktails and wonderful bartenders.

Laughably expensive for what you get. Go there if someone else is paying or if money is truly no object to you.
Also, they're golden from Newbury Hotel customers so they have no obligation to give you good service. There will always be more business in the future.
Case in point, last night an alarm went off for about 30 straight minutes. It took 15 for someone to explain what was going on. Maybe a free drink or dessert could have been a peace offering. Nahhhhhhh...
No tea no shade, the service was not it. Food was good and so were the drinks. They are not attentive though.

Wouldn't recommend coming here if you're not staying at the hotel. They're always busy with their own guests and we called ahead and staff didn't even clarify to tell us that we shouldn't bother to come when they don't have space for non hotel guest. Don't bother unless you're staying at the hotel. Call ahead to not waste your time.
