The history that speaks to you when you walk in is incredible! To see the bones of the original building and realize the historical figures that stood in thay building and the plans they made there is awe inspiring! The food was delicious as well!!
But OF COURSE we had to stop for a beer and a bite at the oldest bar in MA. We went on a Friday night so it was incredibly busy as you can imagine. But that did not impact the service or food quality. We started with the chicken Thai wraps. They were fresh and delicious I almost just ordered another plate as my meal. But alas, the shepherds pie did call my name and I dove headfirst. Lovely service, great food, great beer.
It was busy and we were in the corner. I think our server forgot about us as a result. The food was cold when it got to our table, but it would've been good had it been warm. The tea cocktail was disgusting! Otherwise it's a very cool historic site.
