Went early in the evening, waited over 30 minutes, and a server never came over to us. It was not busy at all. The table next to us got menus and drinks and still nobody came over to our table. The girl waitresses and hostess were not friendly and seemed annoyed with everyone. Left and went to a restaurant across the street that had great service and amazing staff. Disappointed that a well known restaurant like this hired such poor staff. Other people followed us to the other restaurant. Hopefully a change happens because this place use to be great.

Given the qualuty of food and service, the restaurant is overpriced. I ordered a burger (well, THE burger, because they have only one sort of burgers) and the waiter never bothered to ask me how I wanted my meat cooked. The meat was very well done, just short of resembling beaf jerky. The veggies were stale, both in the burger and in my wife's salad. And the presumably fried onions at the top of the burger were... cold. All that made my wife think the burger was made another day and later warned up, something I have hard time not to believe.

We had a decent experience but the place needs some TLC. We sat at the very last high top near the bar. Our table was broken off of its stand and the wall was basically the only thing holding it up so any time we moved a certain way or hit the table, it would shift and make a loud crack. We told the waitress that the table was broken but she didn't seem concerned. The food and drinks were ok, nothing too fancy which is to be expected but it was overshadowed by the table shifting every 5 minutes. The women's bathroom situation wasn't much better with the faucet completely detached from the counter top. I was surprised to hear that they're opening a second location when this one definitely needs some attention.

10$ drinks that are all sour mix and no liquor. Would not recommend. There are better places in Boston. Stay away

Came for lunch. I wanted to sit upstairs on the deck and all I can say was chaos. There were a few large parties that took most of the chairs and tables. Everything was moved around. I wanted to actually sit up there to eat lunch but a waiter never came out and even though this group did not rent out the roof they totally took it over and the-arranged the chairs. Went inside to eat lunch. Service was not great. Our waitress was very nice but not attentive at all. She was at the bar texting/charring. Took 20 min to get the bill, had to ask another waitress. Since I was paying with card that work another 10minutes to process it. The food was bar food. No real complaints.

This was quite possibly the worst service I have ever received in a restaurant EVER IN MY LIFE. The staff is inattentive, ignorant, rude and even argumentative! My vegan friend's sandwich came WITH BACON IN IT and no one came to check on us or fix it. After over 30 minutes, the sever came and argued it wasn't her fault. I'm sorry, but what is it you do besides mediate between the customers and the kitchen? We asked for the manager, simply hoping for an apology but she was rude too! My mind was blown, and I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER come here again. Save yourself from having your evening's vibe totally blown and go ANYWHERE BUT HERE. Awful.

Awesome staff and great drinks! The Dj's are some of the best in the city!

I'm thinking this place has the word priest in it because it's in dire need of a good old fashioned exorcism. How rare is it that you don't leave a tip? Maybe once or twice in your life? Well come to Whiskey Priest in Boston and you'll be add one more time to that total. What a horrendous experience my wife had there with a coworker. To start, the menu online looks wonderful. But when you get there there are less then half of those things available. Update your freaken web page! So.... How long would you expect to wait for a beer after ordering (oh I almost forgot, they were "out of" many of the beers on their menu as well). So how long? 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, nope... 15 to 20 minutes. But ok let's see how it goes from there. This presents itself like an Irish pub-like environment, so the food would be similar as well right? Haaaa, nope, not even close, not even good bar food. Well ok, expectations aren't always met right? But wait, there's more. So.... you finally order and get your food. After finishing, someone comes by and you ask for box for your leftovers. They say, "I'm not here for that, I'm taking your glasses (empty drink glasses)". WHAT?! So eventually the "right" wait staff comes by and asks if you're finished. You say yes and ask for a box for leftovers (Déjí vu?). She says, "sure" and gathers up the plates but puts plates on top of the food you were planning to take as leftovers. (SMH...)

Ambiance: wide open dining with large bar and beer selection, views of the water with sliding windows. Food: decent selection of traditional pub-style food and amazing selection of on-tap-beers. Service: it took 10 minutes to flag down a bartender while sitting at the bar, my friend and I were being ogled by one of the wait staff who would not stop making awkward eye contact.

Nice atmosphere and location, terrible service. 10 servers for 10 tables of people. Most were chatting with each other and ignoring the customers.

Poor service, but fun location. The first time I went a few years ago was much better than this recent trip.

Used to be a great retreat during the weekend. This year we went and they halved the menu. Going to have to find a better place to eat and drink come 2019...

My friends and I go here every year for PAX weekend. They're always so accommodating to our big party! They keep the drinks coming. Last time, it seemed like they only had one wait staff for the whole place, but she killed it.

We've been to WP a few times, but this was the last. We got there right before the dinner rush, and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was polite but forgot several things (we asked for mustard at the table, never got it; asked for water, had to ask multiple times). Also, I don't go to many bars, so maybe this is normal, but I ordered a hard cider, and she brought a can to the table without a glass? I ended up asking for a glass that came five minutes later. The real problem for me was the food. It came out super quick! Great! But my beef teriakki wrap? Bad. Really, WP. I paid $13 for barely an ounce of shaved steak, two ounces of white rice, and an ounce of coleslaw all on a tortilla? Seriously? I even took a pic because I could not believe what I was seeing. If you're looking for a bar, I'm sure this fits the dive bill, but if you're looking for food, I'd look elsewhere.

It is a sports bar. Beer, liquor, wine, mediocre bar food, TVs. There is nothing more to say about it.
