Bakery Coffee Bar is an absolute gem! I stopped in for a quick bite and ended up having one of the best casual meals I’ve had in a long time. The breakfast burrito was incredible — perfectly toasted on the outside, stuffed with fluffy eggs, melty cheese, crispy bacon, and just the right amount of spice. Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.

To top it off, I ordered an iced latte and it did not disappoint. Smooth, rich espresso with a velvety finish, served over ice with just the right balance of milk — it was refreshing and strong, exactly how a proper iced latte should be.

The vibe inside is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who clearly care about the quality of their food and drinks. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast on the go or hanging out for a while, Bakery Coffee Bar hits the mark. Highly recommend!

Great Mocha, but Barista Skills Could Improve
The mocha here is genuinely good — rich, smooth, and bold. The coffee beans are strong and flavorful, which really saved the day. While I liked the overall taste, the barista’s presentation could use a little more finesse. For a $6 latte, a touch of latte art or a more polished finish would make the experience feel more worth it. Still, the quality of the beans shines through!

This place had great carrot cake - perfect balance between sweetness and flavour. They also have one of the best hazelnut iced lattés in town IMHO.

Nice little cafe with pour over coffee, and choice of beans. Can be noisy. They should have endeavour to make this little place for quiet reading and light conversation as it overlooks the Commons.

The coffee was decent, but the food experience was very bad. They literally took a raisin bagel (no cinnamon to speak of) out of a bag and toasted half of it, and gave me a tiny pack of philidelphia cream cheese. These places need to do better at the prices they charge for food and people deserve to know what they are walking in to! The bagel was stale too. This was such a disappointment, don’t waste your time or money!

Great breakfast. Had the iced coffee and a sausage muffin. Great people, not too crowded. Cute little dog visits around 9:15.

Visiting from Atlanta, found this great local coffee spot with stores around town. Loved the coffee, the vibe and better prices than other places.

My friends and I got the banh mi, two avocado toasts, and the smoked salmon bagel. Each was far too dry: the banh mi did not come with enough aioli and the staff were palpably displeased when we requested more, the smoked salmon bagel didn’t actually list that it came with cream cheese on the menu and came with hardly enough to taste anyway, and the avocado toast had nothing to moisten it at all so the avocado was able to actually fall off of the bread. For our second avocado toast, we asked for it to be on a bagel instead of sourdough—you’ll see in the photo. The toppings listed on the menu compared to what we were presented with were not worth the cost. There was literally one crumble of goat cheese. The original avocado toast came with sourdough and was even smaller. The bagels themselves were actually a great texture and we wish they could have been paired with satisfactory sandwiches.

Bacon Gruyère quiche made with love; Americano with a fresh, moist slice of banana bread to top it off. Well worth detouring our Commons Walk!
