Tia’s was a great dining experience this past summer. After the aquarium, Tia’s provided an exquisite meal that settled the appetite for our family. Sitting right by the water, and in between the aquarium & North End, this is a go-to spot for the future.

We've had drinks at Tia's MANY times. We're locals - and yes, it's in the most touristy area of Boston. Those who say that it's a "tourist trap" -- umm, it's touristy, but definitely not a trap. We went out for drinks on a brisk autumn weekday evening and truly enjoyed the ambience. Their choices of beers was good, including IPAs. We had no wait for a table, and the server was super-nice. We spent $22 for drinks, which was is about average for bars downtown.

Good late night bar, didn't get food but the drinks were reasonably priced

My friends and I spontaneously decided to hit up Tia's for a late-night dinner during our vacation. We picked it because it was conveniently located, was able to seat us quickly, and had a menu that would please all of us.We were seated outside and had in some drinks to start. My friend and I decided to split a few appetizers: shrimp, steamed mussels, and spinach and artichoke dip. Everything was absolutely delicious! What I really liked about this place was the lively atmosphere, even though it was getting pretty late. It turned out to be a fantastic choice for our first night of vacation.

Food was OK. Service was great, our server was very attentive and helpful. My turkey club was nothing more than several slices of packaged processed deli meat slapped onto store-bought bread. I would have made it better at home.

Food was served cold Ordered Lobster Roll that was cold and no melted butter. Clam chowder was tasty but very thick. It was served quickly and was hot. Service was spotty and they were out of most tap beers because they were closing down for the season.

Came here on a Friday night, as it was recommended by the hotel we were staying at. My first clue should have been that on a Friday night in Boston, this restaurant had no wait. One person in our party was handicapped and we opted to sit outside. They set us on an incline where his wheelchair was not level and kept moving. When we asked to move to a different spot, the waitress seemed frustrated by our request. I got baked scrod and my friend got the steak. The scrod was not good and his steak was over cooked. There are so many better options to eat at, Go elsewhere.

Food mediocre at best. Everything fried. I wouldn't consider a seafood restaurant. Service started off good then faded. No drink refills and weren't checked on until meals completed.

I was visiting Boston over Labor Day weekend with some friends and we were looking to get a lobster roll from somewhere. We ended up at Tia’s since we were in the area. I do not recommend this place at all. Between the 4 of us, we ordered 3 lobster rolls and a clam chowder. For the lobster rolls, we had an option of getting it warm with butter or cold with Mayo. We all got the “warm” one with butter and when it arrived it wasn’t very warm and seemed like it had been sitting there for a while before it came to us. The waitress came to check on us *once* and when I told her that it was cold and seemed like it was sitting there for a while, she asked me if I wanted her to go heat it up for me. (Like in a microwave????). I declined and we just went on with our meal. I split a bill with one person and for two very small, overcooked, and cold lobster rolls it came out to $70! I usually don’t write bad reviews but I feel that people need to know before going there (especially if you’re on a vacation there, so you can find something better). I don’t mind spending $$ on good food, but I don’t see how they can justify serving this to people for the price. We were extremely disappointed. Hope this helps someone else.

High priced tourist trap. We had underwhelming calamari for a starter, broccoli was cold, swordfish unseasoned. Lobster ravioli was amazing, redolent with lobster i side the ravioli and a mound of lobster on top. Sauce was excellent.I had Tia's salad and a crock of clam chowder. The chowder was ok...it was my 4 bowl since hitting the Boston area...legal seafood and the clam shack in salem had much better chowder. My Tia salad was just ok..between the bleu cheese and the blasamic glaze it tasted a bit like Waldorf salad minus the walnuts .This was not terrible food...but theres much better else where in Boston. Our server was not very good. Very slow and forgot everything...silverware ...drinks...I was honestly trying to get out so she could turn the table again...check took forever.I am in Boston about once a month ....would not return. Theres too many good options a stones throw away

Location is good. By the harbor.Service was good.Food did not meet the reputation. We ordered fish sandwich and summer vegetables pasta which felt like a pasta stew with large chunks of vegetables.

This is a review for Tia's bar, on the bay side of Tia's. There are plenty of regular and bar stool tables overlooking the ferry bay and park. Good selection of drinks although they are all served in plastic cups.

Host was rude (a male). The place unkempt and the waitress brought me a room temperature cola. I had to ask for ice and then realized that the soda was flat. I requested not to be charged for it and the waitress complied. Overall, it was quite an unpleasant experience.

Can’t say much more than when we approached the hostess table, were handed menus, and then we were told to seat ourselves. After that we waited about 15 minutes and nobody came over to take our order. So, we went to Joe’s. The service and food was excellent over there.
