Not sure what happened to this place. I see why there was no line anymore. Got a cup of milk basically.
When we tried to order, a male clerk pointed the machine without a word. But the most options were blocked. Only a few options are available to order. So we asked if most of options are sold out, and he answered ‘Yea’ angrily with very rude attitude. It was very unpleasant experience and we will never go back to this shop.
Here’s the tea and the only place you’re getting it is in this review because it certainly wasn’t in my drink. Same issue many other reviews have already pointed out; also the guy at the counter was on his phone and blatantly ignored us. I had to literally ask if he was ready to take my order since he was preoccupied with whatever he was watching. Now I understand why there was a line outside the door for the business across the street. This place really fell off.
If the male waiter had a nicer attitude, I would have bought it :) When I was preparing to order, I kept tapping the cup. I don’t understand why the boss doesn’t even order the order.
Exact same experience as below - ordered #1 milk tea but no tea at all. Just milk and not even fully filled up. Done within 5 seconds. Absolutely terrible and will not recommend it to anyone at all.
used to be good, but now their ‘black sugar boba’ is just watered down milk. they don’t even advertise the black sugar anymore, maybe hoping customers don’t notice. we notice 👀
The attitude of the man who took the order was almost speechless as if he owed him millions. If you don't want to do it, just don't do it. I will never come to this Tiger Hall again to make you angry. He even threw the bag directly to the customer. The large cup he ordered seemed to be too much. Give me a small cup? ?
Rude as hell.
It used to be really good but i guess the hype died down now no one goes in there anymore. The employees always look hate to be there. Many items on menu were told 'sold out'. They put a hot drink in plastic cup instead of informing there's no hot cups. Ingredients no longer in date, had a really bad food poisoning from it.
If still crave for tiger sugar i suggest the chinatown one, at least they have business there
I asked the cashier what his favorite boba was, so he recommended the number 1 something cream mousse, and I kid you not he made it in about 5 seconds, and it was just milk and Boba. I went back to tell him this was just milk, and he told me he was supposed to be just milk and just added watered-down tea to it... no mouse, no tea, the worst boba ever....
I visited today at 4 PM, and the employee working there was blunt and somewhat rude, and he didn’t seem to listen well to our order. Both my boyfriend and I clearly asked for oat milk and even repeated our request, but he still made our drinks with full-fat organic milk. We noticed him using it and when we asked him about it, it felt like we were talking to a wall when we placed our order. He also barely added any boba, even though they used to be much more generous with it. This isn’t the first time he has made these mistakes. Additionally, I ordered the signature milk tea, and it tasted like pure milk with boba; no hint of tea at all. This seems to be a recurring pattern and issue that I’ve just noticed from the other reviews as well. It used to be my favorite boba spot, but sadly, it has changed a lot.

Horrible. The guy behind the counter looked like he was forced to be there. As soon as i walked in, I regretted it but decided the boba couldn’t be that bad. I was wrong. I ordered a medium black sugar boba with milk and cream mousse from the menu because thats what he suggested. It was made in 30 seconds. All he did was put some tapioca pearls in the cup and fill the cup with milk and ice. The swirly coat you see in the photos is just the sauce from the pearls they swish around in the cup. The boba was not good. Will NOT be back or be recommending this place to anyone.

Made me order twice telling me I need to call tomorrow to cancel my online order. Now the phones just rings. How did ordering Boba turn into this lol
Got the brown sugar boba. They have put so little brown sugar that it feels like drinking milk. Disappointed.
Tiger Sugar is a large and well-known establishment with many places across the Boston area.
The first time I went it was really good. I typically stick to the Tiger Meets Chocolate, and the malt was mixed into the milk well and it tastes like a good chocolate milk with extra toppings.
Then I went again recently, and I don't know if anything changed but it was much different than before. They barely had any of the chocolate malt, it just tasted like straight milk with some brown sugar and chocolate. They did have a deal to buy two and get one free, but even then I don't think it was that worth it.
The other locations of Tiger Sugar still have a similar quality, so i'm not too sure why this one suddenly got worse.
The atmosphere inside isn't that great either, as there's barely any standing room to wait for your drink, as well as barely any sitting space. It is more of a grab & go kind of location.
