Hands down our favourite boba in Boston so far! Tiger Sugar is my weekly guilty pleasure.Their offers -From Mondays to Fridays, you can buy 2 drinks and get 1 for FREE! And for all the students, you get a 10% off by showing your student ID.Our FAVOURITE drink is mentioned in the video and I’ve literally dragged all my friends to try it! If you like fruits, you should try their mango sago, strawberry Mochi and lychee tea flavours. They also offer shakes, however, we prefer the normal drinks instead. We aren’t fans of their jumbo boba personally. They have multiple locations across Boston including Chinatown, Allston, Harvard Square to name a few!...#sortedweekends #bostonblogger #bostonfoodie #boba #bobalover #brownsugar #bubbletea #hiddengem #studentdiscount #weeklyoffers #summerdrinks

This location doesn’t do promotions like China town. I always get buy 3 classic and get $1 tea. So I went to China town instead! And to be honest, the girls that work in Allston always make me feel like I’m putting them out to do their job when I ordered a lot of tea.

Very standard Tiger Sugar. It's extremely small inside and felt cramped even with 4 people waiting, so it's definitely meant for takeout and not as a hangout spot. As someone else mentioned, there is a Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal on weekdays.

Tiger Sugar has great offerings…in theory. Long been a favorite boba chain, this location is simply a straight skip. Service was atrocious—the man behind the counter had his AirPods in the whole time, did not respond when we asked questions, and would barely answer when we asked to order. No eye contact, no acknowledgement. Three of us were there hoping to take advantage of buy 2 get 1 free on weekdays, but the man behind the counter said it was after time, even though there was no indication on the poster that the promo didn’t apply (we were here on a Thursday evening.)We ordered a brown sugar milk with pearls (#2) and the taro pudding with taro & boba, which wasn’t visible on their physical menu, only on their ordering kiosk, and does not apply promos if you use it. Their classic brown sugar milk with pearls was solid, with rich brown sugar flavor. The taro is a great concept, with actual chunks of taro, but the pudding tastes artificial and not in a good way (powdery and yucky with a gross aftertaste.)I think the owners are tired of making money and waiting for the store to just die on its own. The counters were full of spills, the staff is completely checked out, and right across the street is a newly opened shop with bright lights and tons of visitors to keep their stock fresh.Tiger Sugar may still be good elsewhere, but this location is a straight up skip.

Boba shops are usually prime hangout spots, but not this one because it is tiny. It is easy to miss because you have to go down a small flight of stairs. There are no seats inside, so you must take your drinks to go. There is a kiosk for ordering, but you will not be able to claim any promotions if you order through it, so keep that in mind. There is currently a "buy 2, get 1 free" promotion on weekdays as of February 2024.The first time I tried Tiger Sugar years ago in New York, it instantly became my favorite boba place because of how good the drinks were. Every time I've had it since then, it has been more disappointing than the last experience. However, each time has been at a different location, so maybe the quality varies per place. The person working at this location was not welcoming at all and quite curt. However, she made all three of my drinks in five minutes (yes, I did the promo). It was empty, though. This time I came back specifically to try the jumbo boba. The marketing made it look so good, but the actual boba was a huge letdown. You're basically just paying for 4-5 huge balls of grass jelly--they aren't even regular boba. You also can't even tell that you ordered them because they sink to the bottom with the regular boba, so if you don't care how they taste and are coming just for content, you can't even get that. The drinks themselves were also disappointing. I got the Tiger Meets Pudding (#5), Tiger Meets Chocolate (#3), Brave as a Tiger (#1). All three were quite watered down and tasted heavily of the milk than the tea. They pretty much all tasted the same, aside from the #5, which tasted like chocolate milk. The boba was also tasteless. The only thing that I liked was the pudding in the third drink, which was deliciously chunky and creamy.

Buy two get one free on weekdays. Delicious. I like the Mochi one. Also, be sure to use your student discount (but can't be combined with buy 2 get 1 free).

This is a small, but efficient, bubble tea shop that specializes in milk tea. They're well known for the quality and freshness of their boba and pearls.I usually get the #4 Tiger Meets Coffee

I got their new drink, the strawberry mochi, and it absolutely had nothing in it besides milk and ice. I literally just paid $ 8.50 per drink for two drinks.

We got large drinks and more than half of the cup was filled with ice. They don't allow you to get drinks without ice as well. One drink was really watered down. My drink was fine initially but with that much ice it lost the taste quickly.

Good flavor but their service is getting worse and worse to the point I finally gave up on this place. So disrespectful and regretful of every single dime I tipped here.
