We arrived at our reservation time and the doors were locked Starr was on site but took about 5 minutes for someone to finally unlock the door and let us in it was not as advertised at all and when we asked about the Dj we got a rude response. We ended up leaving and dining elsewhere.

Not very busy for a Saturday night, though it was a cold evening just after the holidays. Staff seemed less than thrilled to be there. A bit off the beaten path to get to. Put a note in my reservation that this was for a teenager's birthday with her name. However, no one on the staff made reference that this was supposed to be a special dinner for her. Not a place we would go out of our way to visit again but the food was delicious.

We arrived for our reservation and no one greeted us at the door to seat us. We stood at the door for about 15 minutes before we decided to go find an employee at the bar. The bar tender told us that she was the only person working the floor that night and there were guests at the bar and many filled tables. We decided to leave and go somewhere else!

Tiki Rock is a destination within Boston. Whether you're coming in for an afternoon refreshment, dinner, or a late night experience, this establishment will welcome you with open arms. The staff - servers, bartenders, bar backs, kitchen staff, managers, etc. - are all authentic, genuinely warm, and take care with their profession. They also take care of their patrons and will work to ensure your experience is the best it can be. The cocktails are always spot on, and whenever you decide to leave, you'll find yourself drawn to come back. Tiki Rock creates community, and I've never been disappointed after returning repeatedly over the course of the past year. (Photos from multiple trips.)

Ehhh... More of a pop-bar trying to be a Tiki bar.
Besides the Pop Music, the drinks were served in mason jars...

Good food, great music, decent drinks but service is trash. Also hate the fact that they included a 20% gratuity and the service was shit.

We love this bar so much that we rented it out to host our wedding reception.
Curtis and Brandon were fantastic to work with and the staff were all very friendly.
The atmosphere and the food are great, but the drinks are absolutely standout.

Emily D the bartender was fantastic! I love coming to Tiki Rock to have a Mai Tai after work, she makes the best Mai Tais, great personality for a bartender.

We were there tonight and all the workers had a bad attitude toward us, it’s like they were having a bad day and trying everyone to have one too! Atmosphere was good but the service is just a no for us!

Our experience here would have been so much better if this place had a better hostess. She totally killed the vibe. We had a reservation for our friend's bachelorette party and when we walked in she was too busy chatting with her friends to even acknowledge our presence. She stared at me blankly when I walked in and looked at me like I was stupid. I didn't say anything to her at first because I couldn't tell if she even was our hostess or not. There was no welcome of any kind and after a few minutes once the whole group was inside, she rolled her eyes and rudely told us that we either had to move to the bar or get out of the way because we were standing in an inconvenient spot. If she did her job like she was supposed to maybe we wouldn't have been standing there wondering who was going to seat us.

Other than that the food we enjoyed and the music was fun. The drinks were kind of gross. Won't be coming back, but it is what it is. There's a lot of other places to go to that are better and friendlier. :)
